Dr. John Andrew Cristini, MD

You walk into the 1960's - the staff has the efficiency and personality of zombies. Dr. Christini's assistant is very inefficient and does not infom you of things you should have been told up front. Nor does the Doctor. I wasted 3 appointments until I found out that they could not supply me with the injection that he adv ertises all over his office because he does not keep a supply you have to wait (2) weeks to get it. (If your insurance pays for it) Crystal one of the staff is extremely uptight and has no personality or empathy for people in pain. She is totally rude. I wound up going to Shore Othopedic and got rid of my pain on the VERY FIRST APPOINTMENT. Do not waste your time going to this Doctor - not to mention - his staff makes you depressed even if you were in a good mood when you walked in the door.

Dr. Cristini is an angel sent from above! I will never forget his kindness! Many years ago, in 1976, when my mother was visiting me from Greece to help me with my three young children while I worked, she fell and broke her hip. Needless to say, she did not have any kind of medical insurance, and I could not afford to pay for the hospital or her surgeon. Although, I eventually, paid her hospital bill in full, her surgeon, Dr. Cristini, did not charge us a dime! I remember him saying with a smile, "Don't worry about it!" My mother stayed at the Atlantic Mainland Medical Center in Pomona for a month, and Dr. Cristini made sure that she was doing well. Afterwards, she had a few follow up visits at his office and by the time she was able to walk, her visa expired and she had to return to Greece. However, she never forgot Dr. Cristini! She wrote me in her letters about his kindness, and compassion. She always kept him in her prayers! I will always and forever be thankful to Dr. Cristini for… helping us during that difficult time, not only as a doctor but as a true human being!
