Important to note that the hospital designated Dr. Wells to the Patient, it was not the Patient's choice. Dr. Wells should not be permitted to see patients and interact with those that are terminally ill. The Patient was informed that the diagnosis was CANCER and terminal and that the Patient had 6-12 months to live. There was no eye contact, curt, and barked to a family member when a question was asked, 'Weren't you listening to me'? Dr. Wells made the Patient feel uncomfortable, undervalued and inadequate. When requested to change Oncologists, the Cooper Clinic informed the Patient and family members that the Oncology Department did not change Dr.'s. I blame both the COOPER CLINIC and Dr. Wells' actions for the necessity of this report and am thankful that there is a forum for inadequate Dr.'s to be exposed!
