Dr. John A Dana, MD

I've been a patient of Dr. Dana's for four years and have had more than 20 office visits in that time. His follow up is impeccable. He remembers details of my case and draws from very good notetaking. He is knowledgeable and intelligent but also patient, respectful and modest. The office staff is very personable and they manage prescription refills and appointment changes with ease.Call during office hours. In my experience, the after-hours answering service is useless at best.

John has that unique combination of being an extremely knowledgeable and well trained doctor and a compassionate and caring doctor at the same time. You really feel that he cares, and he takes the time with not only his patients but the patients' family as well. John's insightfulness saved my father's life - when the other doctors wanted to send him home from the hospital with a few pills, John insisted that he stay in the hospital. We later learned that if he had been sent home, he would have died.
