I have seen Dr. Dimar on 3 occasions and every time he was rude and didn't bother to take the time to listen to me or answer my questions. He is cold, standoffish, and talks down to his patients. If I could give him a negative score, I would! I have had 2 other doctors read my MRI's now, and both found things he missed as he simply dismissed my pain. I will never step foot in his office again!

I found Dr Dimar a very honest and caring doctor. He did everything that he could to avoid surgery if possible. I received the best care from Norton's and his staff after my surgery. He corrected a mess that another doctor had made that made my life very un-pleasant for many years. I have found nothing negative about his office and I have recommended him to several people needing good help. Dr. Dimar and Dr. Raque work together and are a very good team.

Dr. Dimar is one of the smartest surgeons i have ever dealt with, not only is he an excellent surgeon,but he truely cares about his patients. I never write reviews because I honestly hate computers but this man deserves the truth to be known about him. Thank you doc !!! I trust you and dr. raque with my life and I thank God that you have been blessed with the ability to help people like me!

He operated on me several times and I always found him rude and took little time to answer questions. Once he said there was no point because I wouldn't understand the answers. The last time he operated on me, he was less than honest about the extent of the surgery and I didn't find out until I had an MRI several years later. While I do not question his skill level, Louisville has numerous skilled surgeons and one does not have to tolerate that sort of treatment. The last time, I didn't even get a follow up appointment which is unheard of after a three level fusion.

Dr. Dimar saved my life in a very complicated case. I highly recommend him.

I thought he was rude and uncaring and didn't really listen to me. After looking at MRI he told me that my previous back surgery was on L5 not the disc between L3 & L4 which I know it was. He told me it was my shoulder that was hurt not coming from neck...went to shoulder specialist and he said it was coming from neck and my shoulders were fine. NOW WHAT?

Dr. Dimar has a wonderful combination of down to earth patient communication with a brilliant and nimble mind to solving back problems. He watches and waits as long as possible and moves to surgery when it is absolutey the last resort. He always has residents or nurses shadowing him and they are lucky to have such a great mentor!

I am so pleased with his work and bed side manner. He saved me from being paralyzed by operating on my neck.
