Dr. John Louis Stanton, MD

I got stem cells from him in 2019. My back pain got worse after that. Last year, I went to a pain clinic, and he was the doctor giving the epidural injection. I live in pain 24/7. The lower back pain is affecting my walking, and my whole life. If you are looking for a doctor who listens, he is not the doctor for you. He is too busy, to even interact with you. I'd like Tito thank him all this pain and sleepless nights.

Only Doctor that Has given me injections that WORKED I Really think he knows what he is doing From experience also being very knowledgeable I have been 100% disabled since 2009. I have been lucky to have always had good pain management Doctors only I think they believed That their only treatment to the problem has always been to throw meds at the problem This in my case worked but I lived in fear of at some point not being able to get my meds that had gotten to a unacceptable level Thanks to Dr Stanton I am no longer at that point in my life now Dr Stanton is a great Doctor who knows how to do injections that work He knows how much and where to Inject the medication I have been able to cut my meds Down to a reasonable amount thanks to him and his staff I still get enough meds for relief needed to be able to live my life Without the fear of death Thank you guys for everything Be safe and healthy

Dr. Stanton gave me shots in the back, and I am terrified of needles, he kept the needles hidden. When he gave me the shots he was so kind and patient with me and OMG they helped my back. He's a GREAT CAREING DR.

I had surgery many years ago. Dr Stanton was my surgeon. I was sent home with a pain pump. I had a reaction to the demoral. I did not continue to push the pump. I had an appointment the next morning. By the time I got there I was in excruciating pain. My husband went in to get a wheelchair for me. I was practically in tears. When Dr Stanton came he said, I have never seen anyone act like this. Told my husband to get my arms, he would get my feet to put me on the table. As soon as he came in we told him I had no pain medication all night. I was about 12 hours out of surgery. He made comments that were not needed. I ask him if he ever had surgery, and then went the night with nothing for pain. Needless to say when I went back to get staples out, I gave him an earful. He said nothing! I will never go to him again. I didn’t appreciate his condescending attitude. That is how it came off to me.

I would choose Dr. Stanton again!

Dr. Stanton completely botched my ankle fusion and I had to have it corrected by a doctor at Vanderbilt. His bedside manner is horrific.

Don't care to much about people, had surgury on my knee the wanted me to be back at work in two weeks. Did not want to hear that my work place wanted me back at 100% an not at 25%.

I had an appointment and I was thrilled by the compassion and level of care that Dr. Stanton provided my Son. He was very understanding of our needs and was the only doctor in the town that could diagnose my sons knee problems. I would recommend him for any issue you might have as he will truly be there for you and your family
