First time with this doctor, he gave me Great information and was very plain words so that I could understand my impression. He is the best.

Dr. Littrell was well prepared for the initial visit and presented excellent overview of my current situation and treatment options

Dr. Littrel did an emergency small bowel resection after my midline wound dehisced as a complication from a 2 level spinal surgery. He and his team were so calm and organized I felt safe and didn't even realize at the time how serious my problem was. Dr. Littrel is very personable and really cares. He answers questions and draws pictures to make sure that you understand. His staff is great. It has been easy to make follow up appointments. I have never had to wait. He is always on time. Christi is very helpful and made sure that all the paperwork I need for my leave from work was expedited.

I had an appt to see Dr Littrell yesterday. The sign on the door stated you "should" where a mask. I interpreted that to mean you should, but it is OK of you don't. Not mandatory. I walked into the waiting area and the woman who answers the phone looks up and says you need a mask. No hello or how are you? I told her about the sign and she insisted on a mask and threw one at me. It was the kind you tie. I put on a mask that I had in my purse. Then she throws a piece of paper and a clipboard out of the window and says "fill this out". I told her that her attitude was rude and she says "no it isn't". WTH? I asked to speak to a manager and she said she wasn't there...then a minute later the manager shows up. I asked to speak with her privately and not in front of the clerk. She seemed confused. We went into the hallway and I showed her the sign and relayed what happened. She kept saying I need a mask (even tho I had one on at this point) and I wanted her to address that clerk. I go back… in, fill out the rest of the form and the clerk says you need to pay 5.00 copay. I told her I paid that the last time I was there and never saw the doctor. I did not bring any form of payment and asked her to bill me. She said no I have to pay 5.00 right then or not see the doctor. I just left at that point. Read the review of the same person on May 10. The surgeon has lost 2 patience due to this woman at the front desk. Unbelievable. No apology or interest in retaining me.

My husband has recent surgery with Dr. Littrell. He was thorough and provided us with specific details before and after the surgery. I was very impressed with him. Unfortunately, I had a bad experience with the lady that answered his office phone. She was rude, very unprofessional and after placing me on a brief hold, came back and gave me a time and date for my husband's follow up. It happened to be on a day I was not available and mentioned this. It didn't matter, she said that was the day he did follow up. I said that we couldn't make that date and I explained we would not be back for a follow up. My advice to the doctor, get someone else to answer your phone. We will find another doctor.

Dr Littrell is an exceptional physician and surgeon. He is kind and gracious, a great listener, and his surgery skills are beyond amazing. At 74, I dreaded the complicated surgery I was facing but he made so easy and had wonderful people working with him. I feel so fortunate to have found him. No wonder so many referring physicians and nurses sing his praises!
