Dr. John Martin Rodgers, MD

First time with Dr. Rodgers. He looked at results and explained them. Dr Rodgers also answered my questions and prescribed medication. He gave me a diagnosis and explained in a way that I can understand. I was given a follow up appointment to see how new medication works. I do recommend Dr. Rodgers.

I had two appointments with Dr. Roger's, a vasectomy consultation and the actual procedure. Both were quick, efficient, and friendly. Dr. Rodgers made me comfortable by playing background music and performing the vasectomy while holding a conversation with the nurse (who was also great) and myself. The actual procedure was done in about 15 minutes. It was pretty painless and so far the recovery has been great (I'm about 24 hours out). I've heard plenty of horror stories about vasectomies from people who did not have a great doctor, and after researching Urologists in the greater Philadelphia area, am very happy I chose Dr. Rodgers to perform the procedure. I 100% recommend his vasectomy services.

Dr. Rodgers is very thorough and very professional in his care for me. Dr. Rodgers takes the time to listen to me and answers all my questions. I would definitely recommend Dr. Rodgers for anyone who is looking for a urologist that you can feel at ease and confident with.

Pretty much same old same old. Adequately Polite, assembly line procedure , nurse was extremely sociable and made you feel comfortable, Dr Rodger’s did what needed to be done but lacked the follow up explanation or any discussion regarding your condition except your prostrate is enlarged . The days of a thorough “possibly time consuming “ explanation are over . “NEXT”

The Doctor was very professional and addressed the issues that I had on my mind. You will be very comfortable and satisfied with this physician.

My follow-up appointment was much better than my original appointment several months ago. For that appointment he had a grin on his face the entire time as if he was making fun of me after I showed him my anatomy, and it seemed like he didn't take his job or the patients concerns seriously at all. But for my latest appointment he was much more professional and focused with my concerns and fears. The length of time that I saw him was still pretty short, but at least all of my concerns and questions were addressed this time.

Dr. Rodgers is a caring, compassionate healthcare provider. He has been my urologist for several years, and I can say, without hesitation, that I trust Dr. Rodgers with my life. My medical decisions are made in consultation with me. Dr. Rodgers is the best urologist.

I don't know who the person in this profile photo is, but the doctor I met with had strawberry blonde hair and was quite arrogant. It could be the same person, so perhaps the fluorescent lighting in the room made his hair appear different. The doctor acted like a typical hotshot college boy who thinks his stuff doesn't stink. He had a grin on his face the entire time, and I felt like I was being made fun of by the way he smiled when I showed him my anatomy, which was part of the exam. I found that to be very unprofessional for a doctor. He gave me a referral for an ultrasound, and I have a follow-up appointment in a few months, so I'll see then if that guy is in fact Dr. Rodgers. I only saw him for a total of 10 minutes, maybe 15 at most. I felt like he should have spent more time asking me questions like what my concerns are, or my goals with these appointments. It was after 5pm, so perhaps he was trying to rush me out the door so he could go home. My advice, wipe the grin off your… face and take your job more seriously. You're not in college anymore, so stop acting like it. I'll update this review after my next appointment.

Dr. Rojers was friendly, to the point, and answered all my questions. I appreciated his professionalism and clear communication.
