Dr. Rodgers has a great personality and spends quality time with the patient, engaging in issues, concerns and medical procedures amicably, mutually and honestly. He has respect for his patients, a phenomenal bedside manner and makes good sense both medically and personally. Unfortunately, he often runs far, far behind. Call first to see how he is running, or you could wait an hour or more. But, that indicates he does not rush his patients through as a number; he treats each patient as they need to be treated. Neither he nor his office do follow up calls to see how patient is doing. I wish this were different, because it is not easy to get in to see him...so if an issue arises, you will wait at least 2 weeks. He will, eventually return your call, but it will be after hours, and he'll direct you to call the office in the morning to schedule an appointment, which will be in 2 weeks or more. The office phone is constantly busy, and they turn off the phones at least 15 minutes before they close for lunch, and at least 15 minutes after lunch is over.

He never contacted our family when my father was in the hospital despite many notes left on the chart. My father is 91 and confused at times. Thanks for all the consideration.
