I encountered Dr. Babbitt in St. Peter Hospital Emergency Room and found him to be thorough, concerned, deftly competent, and pleasant, while functioning under time pressure without seeming rushed.
Babbitt is an idiot. Not only does he have the bedside manner of a vampire bat, he makes assumptions even in light of contradictory evidence (and the opinion of another physician). I was "diagnosed" with the flu and two weeks later I was in surgery for internal bleeding (for my non-existent condition).Stay *AWAY* from this man if you want to have any hope of surviving the evening.
