Dr Hammond performed heart bypass surgery two years ago this July. I was 76 st the time and all tests indicated I needed heart surgery. His office staff, PA’s, the Hartford Hospital OR staff were phenomenal. My recovery was such that I felt good after completing the HHC cardiology rehab program. I cannot thank Dr Hammond and his team enough for my care. Tim Walker - Farmington

Doctor Hammond saved my wife's life when he performed triple bypass surgery on her. I highly recommend Dr. Hammond as a thoracic surgeon.

Having recently had a quadruple bypass under extreme circumstances, I must commend this doctor and his support staff on effectively saving my life. A note to all readers: don't shovel snow after the age of 60, or you will risk a meeting with Dr. Hammond under less than ideal conditions.
