His office staff will NOT answer the phone, nor will they call anyone back. Dr. Figueroa frequently writes prescriptions, but then will not call the insurance company for pre-authorization for those medications. He also will write prescriptions for MRIs, but does not take the time to call the insurance company for pre-authorizations. He has no problem handing out prescriptions for pain medications, that aren't needed, and does NOT listen to the patient. Every time I go he writes me a prescription for something, even after REPEATEDLY telling him that I DO NOT want any prescriptions for pain. He is a HORRIBLE physician and his office staff is just as bad, if not worse.

Dr Figueroa is by far the best doctor I have ever had in my 58 years. You may have to wait for your appointment as long or longer than other doctors but that is because Dr F spends whatever time is needed with each of his patients. He will never rush you and he listens to all your issues.

A friend recommended Dr. Figueroa, whom I have now been with over a year. He is professional an caring, takes time to listen and is available when needed. In addition, his office support staffers are outstanding. they are caring individuals who do their best to make sure all your needs are met. If your pharmacy needs to contact the staff, they are available. Your mental health is as important as your physical health and with this team behind you, you will always win.
