From the beginning, Dr. Fab was awesome. My son, Drayden, was born with club foot (left). He has been in casts up to the hip from the time he was 2 weeks old. The first surgery was at 2 months old, second surgery at 16 months old and the 3rd at 18 months old. During this entire process, Dr. Fabregas has done everything in his power to ensure that my son and I were comfortable and had everything we needed. If there was ever a problem with scheduling, we were given times to be present personally from Dr. Fab. He just cares more than anyone I have ever met, as far as doctors go. I refuse to allow any one else to treat my baby boy. Dr. Fabregas is his one and only Orthopedic Surgeon. Highly recommend!!!Thanks for everything. :-)Priscilla King
Dr. Fabregas is an excellent doctor. He makes the kids feel comfortable, and is courteous and caring. Not to forget that his expertise is unquestionable.
I feel like Dr. Fabregas goes above and beyond with my daughter. He is always sweet and caring with her each visit. He has done several surgeries on my daughter. He is quick to respond to all of my questions.
A few years ago my son was taken to the local ER and diagnosed with a sprained leg, that evening however, he began to run a very high fever and was in severe pain. When I called his pediatrician, I was told to get him to Childrens Healthcare immediately. The doctors on call ordered every test to be done that they thought would isolate and give them an idea of what they were dealing with, but a day and a half later, we had no concrete diagnosis, that is when I met Dr. Fabregas, who told me that he was going to do his best to find out exactly what was going on with my son. He proceeded to ask me questions and my son as well, he spent a lot of time looking over every test that had been done, and by the next day was able to give me a concrete diagnosis of osteomylitis in my sons knee. By now, there were several Drs. involved in my sons case, but Dr. Fabregas was the one that I considered truly compassionate and sincere about his care. Dr. Fabregas came into my sons room in the middle of the night just to check on him and ask how I was doing, when your child is suffering and you feel completely helpless, it doesn't seem like a lot, but it meant the world to my son and I. My son related to Dr. Fabregas, because he took the time to talk to my son, and more importantly to listen. After about a week, my son was up and about and playing as if nothing had ever happened, and we left the hospital with antibiotics in tow. With a follow up appt. with Dr. Fabregas and his other Dr., unfortunately, my son had a severe reaction from the antibiotics that his other Dr. had given him, and was back in the hospital. Since the Osteomylitis was no longer an issue and the reaction is not an orthapedic condition, Dr. Fabregas was not informed of my sons condition. I saw Dr. Fabregas and told him that we would not be at our follow-up, that my son had Stevens Johnston Syndrome and was in ICU. Dr. Fabregas took the time to stop by and see my son. I have never had the priviledge of knowing a Dr., or as a matter of fact many people with as much compassion and caring as Dr. Fabregas. It has been a few years since all of this occurred, and I don't talk about it a lot, because I still get filled with the emotions that I had at the thought of losing my son, and how grateful I am that he is here and healthy and as of last week, achieved his Black belt. My only regret would be that it has taken me this long to express my gratitude and appreciation for those that were responsible for him now leading a very normal healthy childhood.
My son broke his foot. His foot was casted and he had a follow up appointment to have an x-ray to be sure it was still in place. The appt. was one week later on the 15th at 9:00AM at 3300 Old Milton Parkway Suite 310. Alpharetta. I took time off from work to drive my 12 year old son 55 miles one way. When I signed in, the receptionist told me that I did not have an appt. I know we did, but she insisted that we didn't and would not even ask the doctor at my request. She said they were too busy to fit him in!? She turned her back and walked away. She was very rude! I have an appointment card showing his appt time. I can't believe how quickly I was dismissed! A total waste of my our time! I called there later that day to complain, but was told to call the main office. I called the main office- NOBODY CARES!! I will get another appt. and I'll find out if Dr. Fabregas cares.
