Dr Forbess performed an open heart surgery on my daughter to repair her VSD when she was 11 months old. Worst time of my life but the looking back I made the best decision I could - finding Dr Forbess. Just talking to him you get a sense that he's super intelligent and knows what he is talking about. Told us everything up front - as is - and basically told us - "I got this!". My daughter is 19 months now, gaining weight and her heart is as good as any other kids' at her age. I remember he cracked a joke before the surgery... told me that my daughter would be fine... didnt know about me! I'd recommend him in a heart beat - no pun intended!

Dr. Forbess has held my daughters heart 3 times! She's waiting on her 4th OHS now. He's an amazing Doctor and that is why we follow him from Alabama to Texas. When I email him I recive a response with in minutes and that means so much knowing he cares. He puts his whole heart into his job and for that I'm greatful.

Dr Forbess is very confident and master in his skill. He is just dedicated and do his job perfectly, God bless him and his skill for doing great job to my kid, would recommend him for anyone.

When you have your 2 week old daughter going into open heart surgery, Dr. Forbess is your best choice. He is so much more than a great surgeon. He empathizes with the family, explores every option, and will pursue any avenue for his patients.
