Dr. Joseph C Landolfi, DO

Will not see me after the last game and knife which was the third one because didn’t come out positive The last time I saw him was when he took the heel off of me in front of the Gamma knife machine and nurses charge me a couple of hours later two months after my procedure I had retina detachment I called him no call back my I have kept on hurting with pain I kept on calling no calls back slowly I started getting numbness on my right side I kept on calling to get an appointment no appointments or able to be given to me I stop any medications he gave me Since I had to have a blood test to check out my liver. I researched and researched what was occurring to me and I found out that it’s cool anesthesia Dolorosa I had gone to my migraine doctor and he looked shocked when I told him that I thought I may have had a stroke but I know it wasn’t a stroke but I was completely numb but with pain and pins and needles as the electricity was running through my face and a burning sensation as if my… face was on fire. From the looks of his face I knew that I was correct. Subsequently I was given an MRI found out that is a tumor right where the gamma knife procedure was done furthermore I tried to call him once more spoke to his nurse and he said this couldn’t happen since I had gamma knife 10 years ago he had forgotten that my gamma knife had been done only 10 months prior he dismissed me again like a fly and would not see me so what I recommend him absolutely not as the arrogant yes that’s not the reason I wouldn’t recommend him I’m not here to marry him Or make friends with him but he is my doctor he is responsible for what he did he was paid for what he did he took a note and he should’ve answered me for the past year he should look at me in the eye and tell me what I have and tell me how much we proceed because I’m not a doctor he did this so is the arrogant yes That’s not the case here he’s not professional he doesn’t want to see me so he doesn’t have to put in my chart that I am a notch on his belt that something went wrong but I’m sure there’s a lot like me that went wrong he just doesn’t see them and that is not right and the fact at the hospital Jfk allows that that’s not right and other doctors have heard me complain and they don’t do anything that’s not right does he know what he’s doing absolutely But when something goes wrong He has to face it he has to face the patient and there has to be some acknowledgment

He only cares about his research, not his patients. If you are not a candidate for his trials, then he basically writes you off as a lost cause. If you ask any questions, he becomes obnoxiously arrogant and tells you to stop reading so much. He blows off any questions with an attitude. No bedside manner at all. He even is unprofessional and disrespectful in his remarks about other oncologists. I don't trust him to care and treat my relative.

My husband and I couldn't have asked for or seen a better doctor then Dr. Landolfi. Not only did he come with excellent credentials he also was extremely personable. Very good "bedside" manner. From the first visit he made us feel comfortable and at ease. He showed that he cared along with his nurse, Patty. Both of them took time with us and explained everything thoroughly. For that we are grateful.

Very abrupt, curt and times appears to be outright rude. Made jokes at the wrong time when giving the news to my wife on how bad her brain tumor was. When they say Drs can be arrogant I never believed it until I met him!
