These are Thoughts from Joe's Dad...
He is One of Very Few Individuals Who Graduate College and Medical School, Not Responsible for Any Loans Whatsoever. The Reason...His Father Traveled Many Miles for Over 25 Years, Under All Possible Conditions, to Provide Him with the Best in Education. As Part of the Package, He also Provided Joe with Two New Cars, Lavish Annual Vacations for Over Twelve Years to Florida, the Best of Clothing, Gold Jewelry, Even a Gasoline Credit Card While in School.
Now a Few Facts About His Father. I am 79 Years Old, Physically Disabled, a Heart Attack 18 Years Ago, A Knee Replacement, Back Surgery, Both Rotator Discs Torn as a Result of a Fall, and Most Recently, Congestive Heart Failure.
Because of My Dire Financial Problems, i Recently Sent Joe an Email, Explaining that I and My Wife are Trying to Get By Each Month on My Social Security. I Mentioned My Concern Regarding MY Eleven Year Old Car that if It Needs Repairs, I Have No Money to Fix It. No Answer...Why, Because as He Recently Said to Me..."I Don't Owe Your Anything". My Reply, Only Respect, a Word He Doesn't Know the Meaning of Because He Has Ice Water Flowing in His Veins. Meanwhile, He and His Wife and My Youngest Granddaughter Live in An Upscale Neighborhood in Scottsdale, AZ, He Drives a New Porche, His Wife a New Mercedes.Sadly, His Dog, Juicy Recently Drowned in His Swimming Pool. I Wasn't There, but I Would Imagine, He Jumped in, Trying to Save Her. Would Anyone Believe, "He Tried to Save His Drowning Dog", but Leaves His Father Drowning, Because of Not Enough Money to Live On, and Will Not Help?
Now, at Age 79, when Most Men are Retired and Relaxing, I Am Out Looking for A Job. You Know What, if I Hadn't Provided for Him Monetarily, in Every Way, Today, Considering, IF All The Money,Was in the Bank Earning Interest, I Would Be A Wealthy Man, Retired and Relaxing, Not Looking for a Job.
Now, When i Desperately Need His Help, He Turns His Back on Me.
Is this a Man Who Can Show Compassion for His Patients? You Be the Judge.
For Everyone Reading My Words, May I Remind You...I Know That You Will Help Your Child in Every Way Possible, As I Did. But Please Remember, When All is Said and Done, Your Child Too, May Say to You..." I Don't Owe You Anything".
Joe, i Hope Your Staff Will Show You My Notes...Read Them, Then Look in the Mirror, If You Have the Backbone.
Notes from a Sad and Disappointed Father, Your Father.
