Dr. Joseph Anthony Muccini, MD

Good doctor if you are retired or just love to hang around the waiting room! Last appointment I waited over an hour and I left. Today again, after waiting for an hour and a half, he screamed at me and told me to find different doctor as he is saving life’s all day ( according to him). Just don’t care about the patient but rather more patients and more money!!! Shame on you dr.

I booked an appointment with the doctor. I got there on time including filling out my paperwork. 45 minutes later there were still two people ahead of me so I left. I scheduled another appointment. I called 30 minutes before I got there and asked the front desk if the doctor was on time. She said yes. I got there at my appointment time and there was three people had to be again. This doctor obviously doesn’t care about his patient’s time so I do not recommend him.

Dr. Muccini is one of the most competent and compassionate medical professionals I have ever encountered. I try to see him once a year for a general dermatology health exam. He is efficient (which I very much appreciate), but if you ask him a question he will always take the time to give a full, compassionate, and complete answer. He has a deep empathy with those who are in need of medical assistance, and this comes through with humor and a great depth of knowledge and advice.

I went to see him about three things. With regard to the first, he disputed a prior diagnosis made elsewhere (by biopsy) before I moved here and refused to treat a flare with anything more than OTC meds, although I had tried them without success before making the appointment and the condition had previously responded well to prescription medication. As to the second, I was told it was "nothing" even though I had just finished a course of antibiotics. After the appointment, I had a recurrence requiring further treatment with more antibiotics. With the third, I was satisfied with his response. But overall, I left feeling as if I had been blown off. Still in pain. Still fighting infection. The icing on the cake was that he gave me medical advice (remotely related to the reason I saw him) which could have put my life at risk, according the doc who supervises my care in that area. Will try a different doc.

Dr. Muccini took awesome care of my husband and now is caring for me. He is great......

Dr Muccini is extremely knowledgeable in his field. He has always been spot on with every diagnosis I have had. He also has a great sense of humor and puts you at ease when you are nervous about a procedure.

Hands Down, Dr Muccini is the best Dermatologist in Missouri. His care for his patients is second to none.

Dr Muccini is one of the best physicians I have ever seen! Brilliant, caring & personable. He obviously loves helping others & it shines through in the care that he provides his patients.

Great guy and staff. Quite attentive, listened well, spot on diagnosis with no misdirection. Relief in less than two days. Presented excellent, clear instructions to follow.
