Dr. Pagano is an extraordinary professional and has been a sincere blessing in the treatment of chronic pain which has improved my enjoyment of life!
very difficult to get the first appointment, this staff other than the nurses are horrible, they just don't care about Dr. Pagano's patients. they treat everyone as if they are a substance ab user looking for legal dope. The antithesis of this is the nursing staff, from the urine check to vitals, these people are friendly and helpful
Dr Pagano is one of the best doctors I have ever incountered.
God help you if you need him to follow up with prior authorizations or coordinate with his staff to ensure you get your medication. You better not be late or miss an appointment and comply with all the rules and better be paid up but he can abuse your time and jeopardize your health and life with neglect of your most basic patient care needs. He could demand his staff provide decent patient care. My experience with him is he is not a caring Dr. Neglectful and abusive. I've never had so many problems. There is no doubt in my mind I'm a victim of his wreck less malpractice. May God have mercy on him if he or his staff was in some of his patients positions. I pray they will not have to experience terrible events I've had to go through.
Dr pagano is a great dr! I have seen him for a few years and he is a life saver. If your looking for a pill mill keep looking because he is no fool. If your in real pain he will do his best to help you be pain free. He has a great bedside manner and is very caring.while there has been a few hiccups with the staff here and there the staff he has now is good . I have never not had a call returned. Don't go to him and think you don't have to follow the rules, follow the rules and be a good patient and you will get good treatment! I read some have a issue with the UAs, if your doing what you should the UAs should not be a problem.I recently had Botox there for headaches, his nurse was so helpful and caring and told me to call with any concerns and when I called she calmed my fears and did not make me feel like I was bothering them. FYI the Botox is working and while painful he was correct about the effects being good! Dr pagano is probably the kindest dr I have ever encountered.
dr. Pagano is the best doctor I've ever had .He is very understanding, kind, and knows all about his profession.Ive been in pain management since 1997 and he by far is the most understanding doctor I've dealt with. he is strict but a doctor in his field you have to be. Thank the good lord everyday I have such a great doctor like him. Thanks again!!!!
Dr. Pagano is one of the most compassionate and knowledgeable physicians I have had the priviledge of knowing. He is an excellent diagnostician and treats his patients with excellent care.
It was a long time getting in, but worth it. Dr. Pagano is a wonderful, understanding pain mgmt doctor with a caring bedside manner. His nurses are also kind and efficient. The office staff needs a lesson in bookkeepiing and customer service.
I have been seeing Dr Pagano for 3 yrs now, he is a very good dr and very caring.. With legit issues he will work with you on anything. The thing I have learned is just follow the rules ( i do) and there is no problem. I know sometimes the staff can be hard to deal with but he has had some staff changes this past yr and the ladies will work with you as long as again you follow the rules , take your meds, only your meds, take them the right way and dont try to walk in because you took all your meds and expect to be seen ahead of others.the UAs are nothing, if your following the rules its just a fast test no big deal.for him to be able to be the best Dr he can be you have to be the best patient you can be. I have NEVER went in and told him I was in pain or have a problem and he did not help.
I am trying to become a patient here and am getting the run around from the front counter staff... Being told several different stories regarding procedure for new patient ... Very frustrating and they are very unprofessional .... No privacy in speaking with me and no interest in helping me get established there as a patient!!!!!
Extraordinary understanding of diabetic neuropathy, multiple spinal surgeries, osteoarthritis related pain. Effective and safe pain management.
Dr. Pagano started off right away looking for a combination of non-narcotic options to treat serious chronic pain issues. As time has gone on, he has made adjustments as needed to keep my pain level manageable. I had double knee replacement surgery 16 days ago, and am back on Dr. Pagano's pain control rather that using narcotics. I drive 2 hours each way to see him every 3 months, and will continue to do so.
Dr Pagano is an awesome, kind, caring Doctor. We rate you TEN stars and will continue to use you for my husbands continuing, cronic pain management. I am in the medical field, in a small practice simular to yours, so I can really appreciate your courtiousness. BUT your staff leaves a lot to be desired. They are extremly rude and ignore a disabled handicaped person who is standing at the window for ten minutes, while discussing their own personal events of the weekend? Your staff is a very POOR reflection of you Dr Pagano. I only hope one day you will have a staff who are a good represintation of you and what you do.
I went to see Dr. Pagano today (July 25) after he went on vacation last month & Linda from the office said I couldn't see him until I paid $69 AFTER my tricare insurance pays them about $100 every visit. I told her I'm paid the first of each month as all the income I get is veteran's pay. So being in a wheelchair suffering thru severe RA, Lupus, & several other problems my pain has been out of this world. I've had to sit on 3 pillows in my wheelchair to be the same height as van to be able to transfer over in & out. Without meds I just couldn't do it. So I see the nurse, who is always so nice & tell her pain level is a 9, no meds so long, now my BP is 143/118. She placed me into a room. After a few minutes she comes in for me to do a drug urine test. Why I have to do one every single month is beyond me. I've never had a bad test results. I'm a 56 year old lady. Anyway I told her I couldn't because their commode is so low I couldn't get back up on pillows in my chair. She tells doc & comes back with can't my daughter pick me up. Okay I weight about 250 and my daughter is pregnant, so I said of course she can't that I'll have to do one next time. I can't stand or walk - legs are useless now. So he REFUSES, I repeat REFUSES TO SEE ME!!! So I now have no meds for weeks until I get another chronic pain doctor. So I have a very low rating for Dr. Pagano & his work ethic. I was treated so very bad & so embrassed because waiting room was full of people that heard us both. So I've rate him low as possible!!!
Dr. Pagano is a caring Pain Mgt. & Pain Med Mgt. doctor. I saw one complaing because Dr. Pagano pushes Suboxone. Suboxone is used to get you off of Opiods by removing the craving and withdrawal symptoms. He will prescribe Opiads for the most extreme Chronic pain, but he knows that prescribing this medicine to people who don't really need it will suffer extreme withdrawal when it is time to stop. That is why you can't always get what you want. He also isn't fooled. Last year, I thought his staff was the worst, but something happened and they are good. He does not hire the staff, He is given what he has from The Tallahassee hospital he is associated with. Bottom line, he has been a life saver for me.
Dr Pagano is great, as well as his nurse. However his office staff are the meanest and dumbest people on planet earth. The Taliban or Al Queda would be easier to deal with.
Dr. Pagano is personable, reassuring and listens. He also explains and gives options. I travel from Panama City to continue to see Dr. Pagano in Tallahassee.
The staff is unbelievable!! you NEVER get a call back, not even a week later!! looking elsewhere for pain management. Even tho he is wonderful, the staff is not worth all of this stress and trouble!! Sorry, but I got to find a Dr who will do something about these employees that he hires..I know it can be ALOT better, with staff who don't mind working even a little!!
Dr. Pagano is an excellent DR. He is very caring and knowledgeable. The only problem is the front office staff! I have heard them on several occasions talk about patient behind their backs. They are extremely LOUD so its hard not to hear them!! The nurse will never return your phone calls either! He definitely needs a new front office staff that is more professional and has at least some respect for his patients!! It would also be nice if that nurse would return phone calls!! His nurse and front office staff should have followed him to Tallahassee from Gainesville. Maybe they could at least show the ones he has now the proper way to deal with patients.
while he is super DR ,his staff are rude and lazy!!he needs a new staff and his office would be great!
Dr. Pagano is an excellent Dr. He is very knowledgeable and he will do every thing in his power to accurately diagnose you! The person who wrote the review about him being an addiction doctor and pushing beuphenorphine must of been looking for a pill Dr. DR. Pagano does have extensive experience practicing in addictive medicine. Dr Pagano has helped millions of people lead normal live and I am positive he has also saved the lives of thousands of people! If you are looking for a pill Dr. then you shouldn't go to him but if you genuinely need his help then he is the only PM Dr. that gives a damm! His front office employees need to learn manners and how to treat people with respect and return phone calls!! But DR. Pagano is worth every minute of the wait and the front office employees and the drive to Tallahassee!!!
So caught up in addiction and using beuphenorphine that won't listen or be open to possible issues. Was on medication for 5 years with incorrect diagnosis. Changed pain mgmt docs and took new one ONE visit to diagnose me with bilateral carpul and tarsul tunnel. Spent 5 years having him ignore my symptoms and pain progression....
Sadly Dr. Pagano is no longer at Shands in Gainesville, he has moved to Tallahasse memorial. I will be driving the 185 miles to see him every month. Dr. Pagano is the most caring and down to earth doctor I have ever dealt with. he is very knolegable, he will not stop until he finds a way to help you.I will continue to follow him where ever he goes.
I am a 30 year old female with Multiple Sclerosis and chronic pain. Dr. Pagano is an awesome doctor who actually takes time and listens to what your problems or pain really is, and helps fix them or at least tries to get you in as little pain as possible. I have, and will continue to recommend this doctor to anyone.
