Excellent doctor, who listens to the patient and makes recommendations and educated me on health issues/care that have not been addressed by other healthcare professionals. I followed his recommendations and I am now feeling better. Thank you

My son went to the Emerson Urgent Care in Littleton. Dr. Palomba was on duty. My son had a very sore throat and difficulty swallowing. Dr. Palomba did a strep test that was negative and instead of pressing further to investigate mononucleosis (palpating spleen, taking a blood test etc) he just said "Oh you have a throat infection" and prescribed some powerful meds to my son. My son did not get better in 24 hours as one should if the meds are working on the infection. My son had to seek a second opinion and was then given a blood test for mononucleosis that was positive. My son was prescribed, and took, meds that were unnecessary. My son immediately stopped taking the medication but has now paid for the meds and has to dispose of them. What a waste and terrible diagnosis.
