Dr. Joseph S Thomas, MD

Dr. Thomas gave me an unnecessary surgery, that I only needed antibiotics for. I never seen him before or after the surgery. He wanted to photograph my surgery. He suggested an abortion on 2 occasions. He and his staff would constantly lie and ridicule me. He offered an OShot for a discount if I did it. He shot me with Pitocin instead of my own blood. He tried to get another surgery approved through my insurance after he botched the first surgery. He asked many personal questions. Deceiving in every way. Dr. Thomas lacks morals and is a dangerous doctor. His staff would rub in the loss of my baby. He had an old lady solicit me for expensive supplements after hours. He referred me to other nurses and hospitals that hurt me. Dr. Thomas continually tried to get the old lady to debit my account every month. I would pay cash for B12 shots and he would charge my insurance also. So he could get 2 payments. He went through so many receptionists because they probably didnt want to go through… with his lies and scams. I believe some of the receptionists left on their own. I was naive to believe a doctor would be trustworthy. He rubbed my clitoris more than a doctor should. I think he is the devil. I thought doctor took an oath to be moral. I do believe he has a side business with abortions clinics. He kept finding ways to charge up my insurance card. Nver got in results for anything. Never told me what was wrong with me. He lied on every visit. Dr. Thomas should have his license taken.

The doctor was knowledgeable. However, when you have incompetent staff who have the bare minimum clerical skills, disorganization, and often curse in front of patients, I'm afraid I cannot give this doctor a glowing review. The billing system is terrible, and the front desk clerk doesn't write anything down. The clerk had taken a cash payment from another patient before me, and proceeded to do my intake with the cash held in her hand the entire 10 minutes we spoke! She is always misplacing files, and had me complete a 2nd intake file because she'd lost my original file when I'd visited a few days prior. Towards the end of my visit, the file magically reappeared! Gosh, I try to support black businesses, but this place is dysfunctional, and not clean AT ALL!!! Foam cups sit on top of piles of patient files, staff is constantly turning over because they too are dissatisfied with the upkeep of the office. And, the main clerk makes up sooo many excuses to people for why the office is… in the condition, or why they've got your bill incorrect, or why they make patients wait for 2 hours for EVERY APPOINTMENT! And, forget about reaching someone before 1pm, because they won't answer the phone. This doctor needs to hire an auditor because I am SURE that his staff are stealing from him. They don't keep proper inventory of pills because they gave me extras that I didn't end up paying for, and it turns out that when I asked the doctor about the bill that I'd received, there were no notes within the file to show where the clerks had 1) given me pills, 2) taken my payment for the pills, 3) detailed/summarized my visit, which resulted in erroneous charges on my account which the doctor realized were incorrect. GO IF YOU DARE!!!

I absolutely love this Dr. He's a wonderful gynecologist. He listens and he knows exactly what you need. I'd tell every woman that I know to go see him . Yes it is definitely worth the wait. He's just some kind of wonderful.

I am a diabetic and have blood pressure problems. Dr Thomas took care of me when I was pregnant. He assisted me and told me what I needed to take to have a healty pregnancy. I did have some complications and he made sure I saw him either once a week or twice month. My baby was born two months ahead and dr Thomas saved my baby life. I had to have a c section but it was best for me and my baby. Dr Thomas is the best and feel really blessed to have him as my doctor.

His office on Western needs to be shut down. The office is nasty and not clean.

I would not go back to that office it was very unprofessional, the carpet and the rooms were nasty. The office manager is very rude and needs to get some people skills.

My first visit to his office. The office was in not clean,unsafe for patients. The medical equipment was dusty and dirty, it looked like it was just removed from storage. There were rat dropping on the floor and the equipment. A syringe hanging of the container, medical tools not properly stored. Trash can without top with bio materials in it. A use I.V bag on the stand less than a foot from the patients chair. The floor was unswept. I told the Dr. Thomas about the conditions, he they call his nursing staff in the room so I could express my concerns, he then left the room. The nurses said they know it's unsafe and they don't feel safe in there either. Both said they had been working with him a short time and they have never been in a office this unsafe. His wife then came into the room to hear my concerns and I told her the same thing. And she relied she only been working in the office for two months. I told her what does that have to do with the conditions. This place should not be… open. She said well we can't close the office down to clean it up. I will not be returing to this office nor would I recommend anyone to him...

He is pleasant, knowledgeable and caring. He does not rush to make a diagnosis and is concerned about my overall health issues, not just from a OB/Gyn perspective. I have highly recommended him to my friends and family
