A TERRIBLE DR - POOR LISTENER WHO IS VERY MISINFORMED, HES A DENIER OF NUERTOXICITY HEAVY METALS POISONING LYME AND FAILS TO CONSIDER MORE THAN ONE POSSIBLE CAUSE - ie, THE ONE HE DECIDES BEFORE HE EVEN SEES OR LISTENS TO YOU !!! HE DOES NOT READ XRAYS AND OR CONNECT DOTS ON THEM OR MRIs, IN MY CASE IT WAS DELIBERATE I FEEL AS A WAY TO ULTIMATELY “MANAGE ME” AND DENY ME CARE. YOU FIRST DID MORE HARM DR JOHNSON! YOUR NOT A SCIENTIST OR A HEALER SIR WITH SO MANY DOCTORS LIKE YOU NOWADAYS NO WONDER THE PUBLIC DOESNT TRUST OUR MEDICAL SYSTEM BIG PHARMA OR DOCTORS. AS A DR YOU STINK DUDE AND PROVIDENCE SUCKS FOR HIRING U AND NOT FIRING YOU AND THE COMPANY I HAD SO TRUSTED, PROVIDENCE CONTINUES TO SLIDE HARD - SISTER EMILES SPIRIT IS DEAD ! PATIENTS BEWARE OF THIS ARROGANT PHONY !

Knows everything even about things he is misinformed of ie conditions he regurgitates pharma-speak about rather than research nuero toxicity. A passing conduction study doesn’t mean you don’t any any nuerological damage and a reflex test is no true end all be all. Stenosis causes nerve damage doctor which can cause paralysis especially when the patient has been complaining for over a year and continuing to lose feel and function. Anybody but him ever again - a waste why did I give him and third chance - he is a very poor doctor and a pretty poor human being. Don’t belive hos phony reviews on providences website - They don’t post anything really negative or he’d be 1/2 max.

Dr. Johnson and his staff at Bridgeport were fantastic to work with. He takes his time listening to people and is very friendly and personable. He also explained test results in detail and answered all of my questions. I would definitely recommend him to anyone looking for a neurologist!

I had read some negative reviews so I went to my appt a bit apprehensive. Dr. Johnson, and all the staff, were prompt, friendly, and explained everything fully. I didn't feel the least bit rushed or overlooked. I came away feeling blessed and cared for.

Dr. Johnson is the second neurologist I have see for my condition and I had a much more thorough exam with him and a more candid conversation about the results, treatment options, etc.

I would never recommend this Dr. He has no bedside manner or compassion. His diagnosis of my condition was wrong. I should have read the reviews about him on several sites before I wasted my time and money.

My negative review of Dr. Joshua L. Johnson, MD - Oregon Providence He appears to have a poor reputation for providing lackluster care and attention to detail. I heard from another local doctor who warmed me about Dr. Joshua Johnson. Despite these warnings and reading some negative information online about Dr. Joshua L. Johnson I decided to schedule an appointment and see for myself if he was good or poor like people are saying. Turns out I made a mistake and should have saved my money and time for another Doctor who could actually help me instead of turning me away. Here is my opinion and review of Dr. Joshua L. Johnson, MD who practices out of Oregon through Providence. I don't want other innocent patients to have to go through what I did with Dr. Johnson. I was upfront with Dr. Johnson and said I didn't want to waste his time or mine if he wasn't fluent with my disease Autonomic Small Fiber Neuropathy. After talking with him briefly it became apparent he was just… another generic neurologist with no specialized understanding of Autonomic Small Fiber Neuropathy. Furthermore, he asked what triggered my symptoms and I explained usually only after I consume neurotoxins such as MSG and aspartame. However, he acted totally oblivious to the fact that MSG and aspartame even exist. It was clear I knew much more than him regarding this subject and it seemed he felt somewhat inferior. What's more, we were briefly discussing my syringomyelia tumor in my spinal cord. I explained we've been doing yearly cervical MRI's to monitor the syrinx. My confidence level in him declined even further when he said "why do you have to do a yearly MRI of your syrinx?" I had to explain to him we do this yearly imaging to make sure the syrinx is stable and to confirm it is not growing. 99% of well educated nueros know if you have a syrinx it's prudent to monitor it yearly or bi-yearly to ensure it remains stable. It seems clear Dr. Joshua L. Johnson who practices out of Providence in Oregon is lacking some basic understanding of Neurology and should perhaps go back to med school instead of wasting his patients time and money. That's my opinion. One of the primary issues I wanted to discuss was my bladder since it still has a major impact on my sleep. He rudely said "I don't do bladders". I then asked him for a referral to a urologist. He then declined to give me one. How rude is that? Shortly after our conversation about the bladder he threw his arms up and rudely said "I CAN'T HELP YOU". I then got up and left the room quietly. I'm going to spend a good amount of time this week leaving reviews online about Dr. Joshua L. Johnson III, MD in Oregon. I don't want other well educated people in need of quality health care wasting their time and making the same mistake myself and others have made. Thank you for reading.
