Dr. Joshua Michael Rosenthal, MD

No bedside manner. I don't go to doctors unless I absolutely have to. A week and half after my visit, I called to ask if it was okay to fly with no change on how my ear felt since my appointment with him. The receptionist said Dr R would get back to me - he never did. Now my travel date is 2 days away and I am extremely concerned I may lose my hearing.

Questionable Judgement. He has a resident see my daughter and would not come to the appointment room even after requested. There was a lot to doubt from medical judgement to hygiene training. I would not go here.

Useless

I’ve worked in the medical field for over 36 years and with Physicians of multiple specialties. Now as a patient I was referred to Dr. Rosenthal and in addition to a really positive upbeat & encouraging personality, he communicates exceptionally well, with clear detail and answers every question making sure I fully understood my diagnosis and options. This is one specialist that knows his stuff and thinks out of the box being sure to cover all areas & options. He does not rush to do surgery but does not rule it out if indicated and seems to encourage the least invasive procedure if possible & safe. His staff was very personable and I never had to wait more than 5 minutes to be seen. Honestly, he was a pleasure to meet & as a patient, whatever the reason, it’s clear he spends time with all who are referred & speaks to you without writing or typing on some computer at the same time, which alone is rare these days and just shows how committed he is to his patients & their needs.… I felt I could trust him & I was highly impressed with his knowledge base & communication skills. A Very nice man & skilled Physician.

Best doctor and person that I have seen in a specialist. He does listen and has deep concerns about his patients and the people in the patients lives

Waited in office over 45 minutes and I walked out. Treating you patients like steerage is wrong. Not apologizing is also wrong. Keeping their deductible is wrong. If you practice medicine like you treated me - probably better you never got to see me. But you made dam sure I had my insurance card.. Better not bill my provider... Shame on you..

Dr. Rosenthal did a fine needle biopsy of 2 thyroid nodules. He carefully explained the procedure, as well as what to expect. I felt very comfortable throughout and did not experience pain. I have been a patient for several years and have found him to be a caring person and excellent physician.

I am a 23 year old female who had a parathyroid adenoma that was removed by Dr. Rosenthal. As soon as I met Dr.Rosenthal I knew I was in good hands. He was confident and explained to me everything about the procedure I was going to get. He even had the patience to answer any questions that I had without feeling rushed. After my surgery I got a phone call the next day seeing how I was feeling . What doctor does that? I was totally blown away. I am now 2 weeks post op I'm feeling good and my scar is so minor. You can tell it was done with perfection! I have friends and family even saying "wow I can't believe how wonderful your healing and your scar is so small." Whenever I hear that I smile because I know what a great job my doctor did and It's true I'm healing so well. I have to give the biggest thanks to Dr.Rosenthal. I was nervous the day of going into this procedure but when you have faith and trust in your doctor it means a whole lot! He is wonderful! Thank you Dr.Rosenthal for… everything you have done for me!!

He never called me back after my first visit. I finally called him and he said he needed more slides to review and that he would call me the following week. He did not call the following week.
