This doctor was singularly rude from her first utterance. Correct me if I'm mistaken, but is a cardiologist (or any M.D. actually) supposed to grill (yes, that IS the right verb here) her patient about her marital life and the GENDER of her partner? Possibly if it was even remotely related to the body system a patient comes to see her about, but ABSOLUTELY NOT if she is maliciously seeking information that she will use to "diagnose" the soundness of one's soul. Does Dr. Earle's expertise extend to the direction in which one's soul will fly once the body has died? Will it be heaven, or...the 'other place?' (ha!) I think not. And be advised: when she "palpates" your thyroid gland to assess it's soundness, it will feel much more like a choke hold. If you like your medicine mixed with lots of good "old time religion," then Dr. Earle may be the doctor for you. If seriously homophobic practices are not your cup of tea, then keep looking for a cardiologist; a visit to Dr. Earle will be a waste of your time (and money.)
