I've always recieved great care at Providence by ALL the caregivers. (I am concerned about this nurses strike that starts the day after my surgery however. )

Dr. Julia Swanson replaced both my aortic and mitral valves in 2019. She provided amazing care both before and after surgery. She truly listens to any concerns I have, answers my many questions, and provides any necessary supports. I have utmost respect for her and feel so very fortunate to have her overseeing my surgical care.

My appointment with Dr Swanson was mostly an educational one in that she gave me more information about my mitral valve problem and further support I might need beyond installing a Mitralclip. I was very impressed with her knowledge of the heart and the forms of support available. Dr Swanson came across as a very caring and concerned medical professional.
