Dr Brecht was very informative. Took his time to explain everything, asked for any questions or concerns, very informative and very personable. I accompanied my brother who had a stroke and 3 days later fell and broke his hip and femur. He explained what he did to BOTH of us. I hope I never need surgery but if I do I would want him to do it.

Dr. Brecht has a very good bedside manner; he spent the necessary time with me and discussed my situation thoroughly and clearly. He made me feel both heard and confident in my continued good outcome.

Dr.Brecht was very attentive and listened to every concern and question. He explained everything very well to me without rushing. He is very good as a person and as a surgeon! I felt very cared for.

Dr. Brecht is the most professional surgeon I’ve come across. He’s caring, patient, very knowledgeable, explains everything for you to understand, and doesn’t rush any appointment. I’ve actually been with Dr. Brecht since 2009 when driving home from work an Expedition crashed into my car. He worked nonstop to make sure my femur and hip fracture was stable along with my pelvic that was crushed on the day I arrived to Baystate . Second day he did my right rotator cuff that was broken and on the 3rd day my Left elbow also needed a plate. I’ve never had an issue with any of my metal sites during recovery or now. I HIGHLY recommend Dr Brecht he’s one of the best surgeons around!!

I was in a terrible car accident that crushed my left arm in several places. I was in a cast for 4 months with a metal brace inside to stabilize the bones. He did all surgeries so excellent.
