Dr. Kandaswamy Jayaraj, MD

In my experience, this provider does not actively listen to patients’ concerns. I stopped seeing him approximately 13 years ago for this reason and recently decided to give the practice another opportunity, only to encounter the same issue. While it is perfectly reasonable for a physician to have a different professional opinion, patients should still feel heard and have their concerns thoughtfully considered. Unfortunately, I felt that my input was dismissed rather than discussed. This approach came across as presumptive and did not foster the collaborative doctor-patient relationship I believe is important to quality care. I won’t be returning.

He's an excellent doctor. He has a way of putting your mind at ease while doing a great job on educating you about the facts surrounding your medical condition. Extremely polite; explains well.

My mother is a patient of Dr. Jayaraj. I've accompanied her on her visits, and I will say that he is WONDERFUL. He answers ANY and ALL questions that you have. He's very patient. We never wait long, and when he enters the exam room, he gives her a hug, and it just makes me feel good to know that she's in good hands. I travel from Houston to be with her on her appointments, and I just love his bedside manner. VJD

Horrible experience with this doctor! So rude and spoke very unprofessionally and down to me. I do not recommend this doctor to anyone that needs help with controlling their diabetes because mine was never controlled, so I had to seek another doctor. It's just a shame that someone that treats people like this can practice medicine.

Office staff is incredibly rude to pharmacies when requesting refills!

I went to Dr. Jaaraj for the first time yesterday, and I was highly impressed. His staff was very friendly and helpful, and I was seen within minutes of getting there. I was shown a video explaining the details involving the issue which had prompted the visit and given the opportunity to ask any questions I had. The doctor was very personable and took the time to explain all areas concerning my thyroid. He did not rush the visit, but instead made me feel like I was the most important thing to him while I was there. I was very impressed with his professionalism and his treatment of myself and my husband who had accompanied me. I have complete confidence in this doctor's ability to handle my thyroid issue. I highly recommend this doctor!

One of the BEST doctors in town and I recommend everyone with diabetes to go to him. Dr.Jay is very friendly, he has a AMAZING way with people of all ages. This doctor is the best ALL AROUND!!!

I've had issues with them calling in prescriptions which is a big deal since it's something like DIABETES and I needed insulin. This happened more than once. Also, I was never seen on my appointment time and they wouldn't even check to see if anyone had signed in when the office was empty and until almost 15 minutes PASSED my appointment time. Although, the doctor himself is very nice and personable, I would not recommend his office based on my own experiences with th staff. Very disappointed.

I love him, he makes you want to get rid of this terrible diabetes
