Dr. Karl Breuing just completed my breast surgery and tummy tuck. I am so very happy. I am 65 years old and lost about 60lbs. He is a kind, gentle, compassionate man. I was fully at ease in his hands.he assured me he was the ‘Captain’ of his operating room, which made me so comfortable ! As far as surgery, I call him the Picasso of today. Highly skilled!! A sharp eye when sculpting a woman’s body! Please do not hesitate to place your self in his hands.

After loosing over 100 lbs, I was left with a lot of loose skin. Over the past 4 years, I have undergone numerous reconstructive surgeries under Dr. Breuings care. He is by far the most kind hearted, down to earth doctor I have had the pleasure of dealing with. The surgeries he has preformed on me have all yielded fantastic results. His skill, brilliance and compassion set him apart from all the rest. Truly blessed to have been a patient of his for all these years.

I had a lumpectomy in 2007 and was left with quite an indentation in my left breast. For years I considered reconstruction surgery but I was not happy with the options. I went to see Dr. Breuing on the recommendation of my cancer doctor in 2017. (He had not been in the RI area before that.) He told me he could fill out the dent with one surgery using tissue re-arrangement. I was ecstatic! He would also have to reduce the size of the right breast so they would match. Not a problem. My surgery went well and my results are outstanding! I was aware I would never look like I did before the cancer, but this was darn close! I love not having to see that "dent" anymore. Dr. Breuing is not only a master at what he does, he also has a great bedside mannor. Very caring. If you need breast reconstruction, this is the man to see!

ich bin schon vor Jahren von ihm in Deutschland operiert worden. Wußte gar nich was da auf mich zu kam. Nachdem ich nach 7 Jahren das zweite Mal an Brustkrebs erkrankt bin hatte ich mich zu einer Operation entschieden da ich familiär schon sehr vorbelastet war ich fand den Weg zu ihm in unserer Essener Klinik da dieses Krankenhaus auf Rekonstruktion spezialisiert war sprich dr Karl Heinz breuing und sein assistenzarzt ein eingespieltes Team bei meinem ersten Gespräch als er nur die Tür rein kam fühlte ich mich schon aufgehoben dass mir bei meiner Entscheidung zu den ganzen Operationen die leider im voraus noch nicht abzusehen waren die Angst genommen hat da es bei mir leider einige Komplikationen gab sprich meine Haut an der Brust sehr dünn war klappte alles nicht so mit der Durchblutung was im Endeffekt zu einer Latissimus Rekonstruktion führte er gab sich sehr viel Mühe und hatte fachliche Kompetenz sprich man merkte sofort wovon er redet Mühe mir das alles zu erklären um ehrlich… zu sein hatte ich damals keine Ahnung was auf mich zukommt aber ich habe ihm vom ersten Moment an vertraut er nahm sich Zeit sehr viel Zeit für jeden einzelnen Patienten kam sogar abends noch zu einer Feierabend Runde in unsere Zimmer um sich zu vergewissern ob es uns allen gut ging was ich im Leben noch von keinem anderen Arzt kenne und das sogar am Wochenende insgesamt waren es bei mir fünf Operationen meine Narben sind mittlerweile sehr gut verheilt und ich kann bis heute sagen das es bei mir keine Probleme gab bis heute leider hat er dieses Krankenhaus verlassen und ist jetzt so weit weg und ich kann nur jeder Frau sagen ihr seid bei ihm in den besten Händen und falls jemand in weiter Ferne diese Nachricht liest und ihn mal trifft und bei ihm in Behandlung ist bestellt ihm einen lieben Gruß von mir lange Rede kurzer Sinn er ist der beste Chirurg auf der ganzen Welt!

In addition to being a fine surgeon, Dr. Breuing is compassionate and respectful in his care. He is punctual, but generous with his time making certain that every option is discussed and that complete understanding of the procedure and any possible complication is discussed. It is rare to experience this combination of technical skill and kind collaboration with his patient.

He is not only an expert in his field. He takes the time to listen, educate and propose options and alternatives. He is a triple threat - best surgeon, educator, and a great personality. After having a few other plastic surgeons, I was so blessed to been able to have dr breuing as my surgeon. He is my hero

He is held in high esteem by his peers as well as office staff and former patients. He's the best, would recommend him to anyone and everyone.

Great Doctor, very experienced, great sense of humor, very likable

I came to see Dr. Breuing after a breast augmentation revision refused to heal. I had been in a traffic accident that caused swelling and fluid build up, exposing the implant. I was told that I would have to remove the implant and go for at least three months with only one while I healed and then would required a follow up surgery. I saw Dr. Breuing for a second opinion as I was extremely distressed and wanted to ensure that I had explored every possible option before going this route. He was amazing. Kind and knowledgeable and made me feel better immediately. He explained his treatment plan which would require only one surgery, not two. Dr. Breuing did a beautiful job. My end result is perfect. Six weeks later I feel great and am extremely appreciative of both Dr. Breuing and his staff.

Dr Breuing did a tram my breast reconstruction. It was 13 years ago , Dr Breuing was the most compassionate physician I have met ! He opened hid Brigham office one Sunday AM because my drain fell out at Mass earlier that morning . My husband and I spent awhile waiting for him , Every minute and hour was and is still worth it ! The three of us shared out love of Chilean wine I wonder if he is still rowing daily before work ? He explained that discipline helped his focus on he long hours is the OR . I feels so very blessed that he worked will with Dr Patricia Duggan. Dr Breuing is an amazing passionate physician and person. I hope all goodness to him.
