Dr. Katherine A. O'donnell, MD

Dr. Katherine O’Donnell, MD, is an attending physician in Hospital Medicine and Medical Toxicology at Boston Children’s Hospital and serves as Undergraduate Medical Education Director. She is also an assistant professor at Harvard Medical School. Board certified in pediatrics, pediatric hospital medicine, and medical toxicology, Dr. O’Donnell specializes in caring for hospitalized children and managing toxic exposures and poisoning cases. She earned her medical degree from the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth and completed her internship, residency, chief residency, and fellowship training through the Boston Combined Residency Program and Harvard Area Medical Toxicology Fellowship. Known for her dedication to medical education and patient-centered care, Dr. O’Donnell is recognized for her leadership in pediatric hospital medicine, toxicology, and training the next generation of physicians.
