I was sent for induction but it wasn't made clear Dr.Kent who was in charge did a membrane sweep and then asked how ready we were to have a baby. We said we were ready. So she told us to head to labor and delivery unit for triage but never mentioned induction. Once we got to L&D they told us to wait for a delivery room and then explain they received a note that stated induction due to GDM. It worked out in the end since baby's Heartbeat dipped a few times, but I would have appreciated a clear message about what was being done and recommended.

I've been under the care of Dr. Katherine Kent for 10 years. I have worked for physicians all my life, and feel I have a good grasp on whether a doctor is a good one. Dr. Kent is a very pleasant, down-to-earth and caring physician who makes her patients feel comfortable. She's in the office only part-time, so make your appt ahead of time.
