Dismissed my father’s symptoms (severe shoulder pain) and ignored test results (enlarged aorta) that showed cardiac involvement. My father died of aortic dissection. She called the day after he was admitted to the hospital (mind you, she never calls directly) to ask if the cardiovascular doctor thought that his shoulder pain had anything to do with the dissection. No sympathy, empathy or any thoughts other than making sure she was not being blamed. I would expect more from Mayo Clinic Medallion Program.

DR. JORN HAS A WONDERFUL BEDSIDE MANNER AND SHE ALWAYS GIVES ME THE TIME I NEED.

This doctor is always too busy and has lots of family off time according to other staff talking so it is near impossible to get an appointment when you need it waiting weeks and months and then when you do she is always in a rush and you wait an hour to see her. Exams are not as complete as they used to be and when you ask for preventive care that is dismissed as not allowed without a cause for it. Preventive care is the key to good health and we have the best insurance possible so this makes no sense. She works at Mayo Clinic and they need to focus on preventative care and preventative testing and quit dismissing it.

At first the care was fine. Months laterthere was a lack of proper diagnosis.I would suggest you consider a doctor with a little bit more experience.

Dr. Jorn is the best!
