Dr. Keith Kenter, MD

Very bad experience with this doctor. He was rude to me and I not recommend this doctor to any one. he did my rotator cuff surgery and everything went wrong but never ready to take liability and turned rude to me. The surgery, he said he did, was actually was not done. I found that when I consult another Orthopedic doctor and he told me that my problem is still there, the original tear was not repaired by Kenter at all. I not like this guy and not recommended any body to visit him. Additional problem he created, a swelling around my neck area, when I asked him about it, he got frustrated and start shouting at me insulted me instead of taking my problem seriously (because he created it), he ran away from his liability and responsibility.

Three of my family members have undergone surgery with Dr. Keith Kenter. I cant imagine anyone experiencing anything but excellent care, professionalism, and exemplary followup. Look no further. Do your research. If someone's going to do surgery on me, I want the best!

I was worried after being referred to Dr. Kenter because of some of the reviews I've read. However, I thought Dr. Kenter to be very genial in his mannerism as well as taking quiet a long time discussing my questions. The wait was short, the staff friendly and the only downside was that Dr. Kenter did not feel he could provide a solution to my issue. He was a second opinion which went a long with the first.

Terrible surgeon. He paralyzed my hand during elbow arthroscopy. I don't even think he knew the nerve he cut was in the location and was completely baffled by the clinical presentation of my nerve palsy. He also has horrible bedside manner and if you don't have a question right then, he is out the door.

I read all the previous reviews about Dr. Kenter before I went to see him, and I actually became almost afraid to go and see him. I thought about cancelling my appointment and going to see someone else. But, Dr. Kenter had come so highly recommended by my previous surgeon. So I nervously went to my appointment yesterday, expecting to be yelled at or to be disrespected in some way. As the people from the other reviews had stated. And I must say I was pleasantly surprised, I couldn't have asked for a nicer doctor than Dr. Kenter!! He came in with a big smile and went over everything with me (I had taken and MRI scan with me) and he went over my MRI scan, he put it up on his laptop and took me frame by frame and pointed out everything to me. He went into great detail with me and never one time acted like he was in a hurry to go on to the next patient. He took the time to answer my questions. I know when I go and have surgery on my shoulder (also my 2nd one in less than 6 months)… I will be in very capable hands. And just a reminder to those that are reading these reviews and are maybe a bit hesitate to go see Dr. Kenter, just remember there are 2 sides to every story. And I must add that I am a woman and I am not an athlete.

Put it this way, I Just had my second surgery less than 6 months after Dr Kenter TRIED to do surgery which I feel he is not capable of doing and he disregarded my claim that something still wasn't right. Get a second opinion first please before letting him work on you. My second opinion was sooooo much better and I'm completely fixed now, not just half way. My second surgery was a completely different experience in all. And it was terrific from the staff to the doctor to the gentlemen checking me in the day of surgery. Dr Kenter's office seems completely incapable of doing their job from filing the pre cert with the my insurance to the Doctor not caring a bit for his patients needs or after care. I will NEVER step foot in a UC facility again because of my experience with Dr. Kenter and his staff. Ever. I will take my business to Indianapolis where they truly care about their patients and their future. I didn't want to give him one star but I had too on this site.

Rude and full of himself. Does not explain condition or follow-up protocols and seems wholly incapable of treating patients with even the minimum of respect. Yells at patients. Can not be bothered to address your concerns / questions if you are not an athlete, especially if you are a woman.

Dr. Kenter is awesome. Not only is he a skilled surgeon, he is also very kind. He performed my son's knee surgery (ACL). The physical therapists are amazed at how well my son is doing. With ortho surgeons, results are what matters, but Dr. Kenter's bedside manner is awesome. I was shocked when I read the reviews saying he yelled at a patient. That's very far from his personality. He couldn't be nicer to us, so I really question that. Personally, I'm looking for the most skilled surgeon out there, and he is very skilled.

I had shoulder surgery with Dr. Kentor. He said that after the surgery I would have3 about 80% of the motion in my shoulder.Not only do I not have even 50% of motion, the shoulder now makes me look like a hump back and I am in constant pain.
