Dr. Kelly S Ching, MD

I am thrilled to have met Dr. Ching at the Kaiser Permanente Foothill Medical Offices. My primary physician for twenty years just retired; I was assigned a male Dr. for my continuous care, but I asked to be switched to a female doctor, with whom I would feel more comfortable talking about women's issues. Before I could ever meet this new doctor, I needed a same-day appointment, and they were able to find an opening with Dr. Kelly Ching. How very fortunate I was. There was immediate rapport; she is compassionate, obviously highly dedicated to the well-being of her patients. Dr. Ching asks the right questions, and LISTENS. She is interested in her patient's concerns, and addresses them at length. I cannot express in words how happy I am to have mt health in herr hands.

Unlike so many other doctors at Kaiser, Dr. Ching treated me like a human being and cared about treating my diagnosis with care and respect. She advised me which facility to go to for the best care, and let me know concerns I had about a specialist I had seen were valid. Finally, a doctor who did not treat me like I am crazy.

Dr. Ching is not only rude with absolutely zero bedside manner, but she is no help for someone with a chronic condition. I have had a chronic condition since I was a child. Dr. Ching told me to that it’s my fault and I need to lose weight. My condition is totally unrelated to my weight. But that is her solution every time I walk into her office. She hasn’t helped me come up with a plan or anything. She just says lose weight. Getting FMLA paperwork from her is like pulling teeth. Most of the time it is incorrect and has to be sent back a few times until she gets it right. Dr. Ching is the reason we are leaving Kaiser.

Full of energy, very Personable, knowledgable, caring, excellent teacher regarding my health, takes her time with me, can ask her any questions. I feel oh so blessed to have Dr. Kelly Ching as my doctor.

I have been with Dr Kelly Ching since late 90's and early 2000's. I don't have any thing "bad" to say about her. Me and my wife--completely comfortable and satisfied with her professional services.

She is an amazing physician. She cares about your well being, she's kind, caring, goes the extra mile to help you, is very thorough, she gets to the bottom of your problem & gives you tools (be it medicine or lifestyle changes) to help you. I can't say enough wonderful things about her.

Dr Ching is polite, knowledgeable and effective as my FP doc. I would not put too much weight on all these other negative reviews. They simply do not understand the Kaiser way, which is providing care what the patient needs, not what the patient wants.

Dr. Ching was very rude, curt, and impatient.

She is the most insensitive, unprofessional and uncaring doctor ever.I had a major car accident and had a rib/chest contusion and went to see her for follow up because my primary doctor was out for a week. I wanted to do ct scan because ER did not do it(kaiser sucks) but she just told me to move and go to work. She just rushed me to be out in less than 5 minutes. Horrible and insensitive person.

I went to her to get some advice on birth control, I told her I had previously gained weight when I started oral birth control. She shut me down immediately and stated there is absolutely no coronation bw weight gain and birth control, that my consern had no basis and she had never heard such a thing before in all her years of prescribing bc. I am a nurse myself and did some research on the topic as well. She wasn't willing to talk about any other type of bc, she said her recommendation is oral bc and wrote a rx. Her manner is condescending, and is not interested in addressing concerns. I deffinatly would avoid seeing her again. Rather go to a free clinic than the md I'm paying for with insurance.
