Dr Kelly Devoogd, DO

Reading the previous reviews - I’m not really surprised. I don’t think Dr. Devoogd is rude by any means. She was always very helpful & quick to get me in and out of my appointments. She definitely has a dry sense of humor - and you have to know how to take her.(side note it’s not her job to be your friend - it’s her job to do her job . Don’t like it see someone else) I’ve grown so comfortable with her . Dr. Devoogd did my emergency C section - she made jokes , made me comfortable and I had the best delivery experience I could’ve imagined under the circumstances. She got my child out alive and that’s the MOST important thing!! Thank you Dr. Devoogd!

Was seen by Dr. Devoogd recently and was not impressed. She exhibited horrible bedside manner by refusing to answer simple questions as she didn't feel they pertained to my case (even my question asking if my condition was hereditary). Additionally, on questions she did answer she would beat around the bush avoiding the actual question itself and was extremely degrading. Throughout this visit it was very evident that money/status was the deciding factor in her pursuing a career in healthcare as compassion for her patients is clearly lacking. By far the rudest physician I've ever encountered.

She brushed off my concerns because I was a younger patient (21), she tried to tell me About how I will want my life to go. I don’t want kids, and I’ve known that for awhile. I’m also constantly having problems with the iud. I appear to have an infection. NEVER go to her if you know what’s good for you. She treats younger women like crap and gives you a lecture. A doctor shouldn’t brush off a patients concerns. Fire her! She is absolutely terrible.

She was EXTREMELY UNPROFFESIONAL she told my cousin she was fat and needed to lose atleast 30lbs. Remind you my cousin is 5’2 and weighs 135 lbs. I WILL NEVER BE BACK

She was VERY ARROGANT! Rude beyond belief! I am searching for a new gyno because my gyno is no longer practicing. She constantly interrupted me refusing to hear any of MY CONCERNS. I am sorry but when I go to my appointment it is SUPPOSED to be about my concerns and fears, not a lecture from a woman who is LARGER THAN ME and tells me I NEED TO LOSE WEIGHT???! Really? Take your own advice! Go lose weight and the. Tell me about myself! She DID NOT shake my hand and interdict herself as a PROFESSIONAL should when meeting a new client. Instead she acted better than me rolled her eyes and even sucked her terth? I am amazed! I am told she has a long waiting list? Perhaps that long waiting list has traveled to her head because she has the bedside manner of a dead fish. I will find my new gyno, and I assure you All about women will NOT be apart of my future medical team! I am sorry but her actions speak multitudes for what NOT TO LOOK FOR when searching for a new healthcare PROFESSIONAL... The… receptionist was very kind as was her assistant..... but never again and NEVER HER!
