I spent a long time in a nursing facility with serious physical and mental health issues he's been great and so has his entire staff thank you..

Met him for a sick visit, as my doctor was fully booked. I found him to be knowledable & attentive to patient needs. I was his patient for over 20 years, when my doctor retired. Over the course of the past 10 yrs, he doesn't listen to patients, tells them to lose weight (he neeeds to take his own advice), adds medical issues in the patient chart that the patient doesn't suffer (or it was a temporary issue), obnoxiously loud, makes me uncomfortable.

He is the most unprofessional person I’ve ever met. He tells patients to lose weight while he is obviously obese his self. The man really needs to watch is mouth before he says it to the wrong person!

I have been with Dr. Shamir since he started with Southcoast decades ago as a young, ready to conquer the world physician. I have seen him develop and mature into a most capable doctor. He may not tell jokes and pal around with his patients, but he is cordial and takes the time to answer your questions thoroughly. He is the kind of doctor you want to have on your team. With over 25 years of experience with him, I know of what I speak.

Dr. Shamir has been my doctor for many years. He has never let me down. I never feel rushed and he admits when something is not his area of expertise and gets me to the appropriate specialist. He takes the time to thoroughly explain things and never talks over my head, but at the same time does not talk to me like am an idiot. Highly recommend him.\

I found Dr. shamir to be a competent and capable physcian. He was willing to take the time to listen to my problem and give good medical advice. If you are looking for a jovial, bouncy personality, he might not be for you. If you want someone to listen to your medical problems and give sound advise, Dr. Shamir can do that.

He has no consideration whatsoever for his patients! He doesn't know what he is doing either. He's very rude.
