Nightmare of an experience for multiple reasons. This austin is not just a bad doctor but he is also a rude person. Believe the bad reviews they are genuine.

Dr Austin’s treatment of my knee pain was wonderful. I am back to all my physical activities pain free!

I went to see Dr. Austin about a year ago for pain in my shin and foot. First he misdiagnosed me. Said I had flat feet, which a podiatrist later told me I did not and which I instinctively knew could not be the cause of my pain. He shrugged his shoulders when I asked what should I do. I could go on but suffice to say he was disinterest and couldn't wait to get out the door.

Dr. Austin let my finger heal crooked after my finger fractures. First of all, I had asked the receptionist at the time of my phone call to be seen by a hand specialist. When I arrived for my appointment (VERY busy waiting room), I was told that the girl who took my appointment had scheduled me with Dr. Austin, the hip specialist. I was informed that I wouldn't be seen that day if I wanted to wait for the hand specialist (even though I had specifically requested him). Seeing as how my fingers were broken, I decided to see Austin. Right away I told him my finger looked crooked to me and that the hospital had said I would possibly need surgery. Dr. Austin told me to make a fist (very hard to do after finget fractures) and that "everything lined up fine". I told him I did not agree seeing as how their was still a gap even as I made a fist, but he insisted I was not crooked and just very swollen. He put me in a cast. Fast forward a month, cast comes off and Dr. Austin chuckles to… himself as he tells me I have "some malrotation" in the finger.... which I had told him right from the beginning!!! Now I'm fighting to find just one doctor who will put my finger right, so far with no luck. Dr. Austin completely obliterated my trust in doctors. My malrotation might be slight, but now my middle finger presses into and crosses over my ring finger, and I'm left trying to cope with the fact that I'm going to deal with it for the rest of my life.

I would not recommend this practice to another for more than one reason. 1st being they charge you to complete any forms in regards to the procedure. I have never heard of such a thing before and have checked with other medical facilities and while they may charge you for copies they DO NOT charge you to complete forms for your job. Totally unethical and a total scam to get more money out of you. 2nd you are forced to go to another location even though you request to be seen in the office where you live near.

Went in for a hip issue..after discussing what kind of exercise I do,( which I think is what was causing my hip pain) he then proceeded to ask me if I watch my nutrition as well. (which really caught me off guardâ?¦this was after knowing me for less than 10 minutes) Then he said something about carrying extra pounds, and I was so floored I didn't even fully grasp what he had said. Then I questioned him and asked if he's saying my weight has anything to do with my hip issue, and he immediately said "oh, no that's not what I 'm saying" "don't take it the wrong way!" "obama makes me say that to patients." I have no idea what all that meant and why he made mention of nutrition, weight and OBAMA????? I had X-rays takenâ?¦he "took a look at them" (but never showed me the X-ray, which i think is strange) and explained what he thinks I have. recommended PT (for which I will go somewhere else) and wanted to see me in a month (and I won't be going back to him) He was awful! i didn't go to… him for nutrition or advice about my weight. What he said to me was completely out of line, especially knowing nothing about me, what kind of shape I"m in, and my history. I would never recommend him. He should certainly work on his bedside manner.

This Doctor May or May not know what he is doing, I broke my arm / shoulder he had me wear a sling for 4 weeks and sent me to Physical Therapy. He spent a total of 3 minutes with me in the 3 visits I had with him when I asked him a question he was annoyed and talked down to me. Is he a good doctor? how would I know he doesn't talk to me.

I found Dr. Austin to be quite arrogant and self centered individual. Not really concerned with the my welfare. Also example of his arrogance is posting a picture that is about 30 years old

Dr. Austin seen my son for stiff legs and complaits of couldnt get out of bed and move after sitting. He is a 10 year old. He asked my son if it "got worse when Mommy was around". He said it was nothing. A month later my son was diagnosd with a conditon called severs disease. If he would have listed to my son and me instead of making coments without knowing my son, my son might have been diagnosd earlier.Will not return to this practice. I have 3 children and have been a patient of the practice but will no longer return.
