0 stars if I could. He nearly unalived me. If you value your life, avoid this guy. disrespectful and dismissive of pain. The worst surgeon ever

Coming here is one of the biggest regrets of my life. Both Dr. Barron and his staff lied to me, and my family and they were bad at medically gaslighting me. It feels to me like they are more concerned about their reputation than they are their patients health. In which case they should treat their patients with more respect, they should go out of their way to show they care if they want to be so well thought of. I do have documentation that I was left in worse health after my my operation here than before my operation. I am having surgery in a few weeks to have endo which he ignored removed and part of my intestines removed which is damaged because my issues were not dealt with. Him ignoring everything is what cost me my job, delayed my education, cost me and my family thousands of dollars. Not to mention the additional surgeries I ended up having to have because of everything. I have documentation that he failed to tell me about endometriosis that was literally seen in scans. All of… my symptoms, tests, and my operation there showed I have endometriosis but yet it was never looked into. I thought endo was supposed to be his speciality which I guess is why I was so surprised he ignored and or missed it so badly. I have spoken with 2 of the top excision specialist in the nation, that are very well known to be THE BEST, and they both say they can tell that it is very obvious I have endo. I am completely convinced if everyone had taken his approach I would be dead by now. It has been a long road just to figure this out because of how things were handled here. It made it even harder for my new Drs to figure things out. I was so traumatized by my experience here I literally had a panic attack the night before my appointment at my new excision specialist. Thankfully I felt very respected and like what I have been dealing with actually mattered. I don't think I will ever view medical people the same way ever again after my experience here. In my opinion there was a lot of negligence involved with how my health was handled and I am still debating what the right thing is to do.

DO NOT GO HERE!! Zero stars if I could. Seemed friendly at first and then very nearly died of bc he decided not to tell me how badly he messed up during surgery. Needed multiple surgeries to save my life after nearly dying. Also he did not perform excision as planned and Dr. Barron lied and did ablation instead and I can prove it. He has been under investigation now that I reported him. Avoid at all costs!!

One of THE BEST doctors I have ever met in my life and I've met a lot. He is so kind, understanding and patient. Listens to all of your concerns and comes up with a game plan. Doesn't try to just keep pushing medicine like other doctors but will push for the appropriate treatment. I will always recommend him time and time again. Don't hesitate if you need help, trust me you won't regret it.

I can’t even begin to express how immensely thankful I am for Dr. Barron. He is one of the best MD’s I’ve encountered. He is extremely thorough, patient, kind & caring. He never doubted my symptoms and followed through with diagnostics before proceeding with surgery for endo excision. Prior to surgery, he held my hand as I was being put under and this was the first thing I remembered upon awakening. I’ve had quite a few surgeries and have not had a doctor do this prior. It might seem minuscule, but it was very comforting at such a scary moment. Thank you so much Dr. Barron.

Before finding Dr. Barron, my experiences were frustrating to say the least. I had doctors tell me that I just head to "deal with" my pain, "suck it up" during painful exams, try to diagnose me with STDs even though I wasn't currently sexually active, etc. I ended up having surgery, but I had to fight for myself so the doctors would take me seriously. After my surgery, they did realize that the pain that I was complaining of was due to multiple issues on a much larger scale. Dr. Barron is the first doctor that straight-up told me I wasn't crazy when I first explained my symptoms. He spent well over the amount of time he had to with me to make sure I fully understood my medical and surgical history, complete tests, and come up with a plan. For the first time, I felt relieved leaving an obgyn office. He makes me feel like he is just as determined as me to find a solution, and that feels like a huge weight has been lifted off my shoulders.

When they FINALLY found the issue (after several months to a year of me insisting there was something wrong), they did complete surgery. I was relieved after my first new patient appointment with Dr. Barron. He was the first doctor that I felt like cared about what I was feeling and was determined to find a solution. After spending time with me well over my allotted appointment, he reviewed my medical records with me, completed an ultrasound, and helped me come up with a plan for treatment. Even after just one appointment, I finally feel confident that someone will help me find an answer and is as determined as me to find a pain-free life.

Wake up medical community! Pudendal Neuralgia is the new frontier! Uncharted territory! Desperately in need of medical professionals to step up and save the lives of so many of us suffering.
