Very kind. One of the few doctors I go to that actually seems to care. Even tried to better understand my rare genetic disorder. Really appreciate him!!

I don't normally write reviews but felt that it would be helpful to others in this case. I had struggled with stomach pains and ended up in the ER. They recommended follow with gastro doctor which I did. They scheduled me months out for and endoscopy and insisted I have a colonoscopy as well, even though with the amount of stomach pain I would have never been able to swallow the prep. I finally begged them in tears to get me in sooner. In the meantime the hospital got my blood results back and I was positive fir h pylori and wanted to treat me. But the associates insisted that I did not have it after an endoscopy they finally performed. I continued to get worse and worse. I saw three different people at the practice, one of whom thought that maybe if I slept better I wouldn't have ulcers and wanted to put me on sleeping pills. I finally saw Dr Josovitiz. I was in tears from the pain. He was dismissive and condescending telling me a should be grateful I didn't have stomach… cancer, but he still had no idea why I had this pain. I gave up and went to a different practice. That doctor immediate it said I needed to be treated for the h pylori. I was treated and FINALLY I started to feel better. Bottom line is It just seemed that were all about profit and not solutions. So do your research before choosing a dr

I have had recurring bouts of vomiting and diarrhea. Seemed to be caused by infection but multiple tests of various kinds found no specific cause. I'd had similar g-i problems at times over a span of 20-30 years. The first gastroenterologist I went to in this area would not spend even one minute to discuss my problems with me. Dr. Josovitz spent a great deal of time with me, reviewing all my test results and personal history, and answering all my questions. That kind of attention is (too) rare.

He misdiagnosis me about 20 years ago in Woodbridge with hemochromatosis, then again at Stafford Hospital in late 2012. was told it was an stomach ulcer and found out once it became gangrene that it was my gallbladder. The worse part was no one came in to acknowledge the misdiagnosis or just come by to say that is great that they found out that it was your gallbladder. Once they found out it was the gallbladder they never stopped back by my room during the next five days, even when you would see him walk by.

Dr. Josovitz was professional and very knowledgable. He was able to diagnose my problem immediately and provided an appropriate course of action. I recommend him to anyone looking for a top of the line Gastroenterologist.

Seemed genuinely concerned. I walked out of the office feeling like I had a doctor who wanted to be a true partner in my health care.

Overall experience was wonderful. Dr. J. is professional, accurate, and very bedside oriented. He is patient in answering questions and quick to find answers.

Responsiveness once you leave the office is poor.
