The responsibilities of an emergency medicine physician are the same wherever that physician chooses to practice: he must take care of his patients, keep current on new technologies and techniques, and practice quality medicine. But after working for more than two decades at some of the busiest hospitals in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area, Dr. Larsen has come to appreciate the small-town, close-knit community feel at Fauquier Health.
