He was a little gruff at first , but very straight forward about my umbilical hernia surgery . He clearly explained everything to expect and included how my weight was a serious factor . At my follow up visits he was genuinely concerned for my care and well-being . He saved my life .

VERY rude. Horrible bedside manners. Awful listening skills. Was incredibly rough during an internal exam.

Dr. Kossoy is awesome! He was called to the hospital because my appendix had ruptured. He explained everything about the surgery, what to expect and explained about recovery. The office staff was great and made the post op appointment easy. Some people may be put off from his direct manner, I on the other hand loved how direct and informative he was. He's doing another surgery next month for me. I couldn't have picked a better surgeon for myself.

I beleive there is a CRAZY person out there posting and reposting things on this site that are UNTRUE (the way you write is the same in every post). To bad you do not have a life and can't move on, live life to the fullest. Life is to short to live in the past and continue to try and ruin someones reputation. I WILL PRAY FOR YOU! This doctor SAVED MY LIFE and I have friends I have referred to him and they were very satisfied with his surgical skills. GOD BLESS HIM he is the greatest!

I used to work for this doctor in Missouri, he was such a bad surgeon he could not do surgery without another surgeon there to supervise. I even saw where incisions were still open and when the patient came in for a follow-up he would take out the gauze examine the wound and put the same gauze back in the wound. BEWARE!!!!!!!!!

Terrible surgical results, I was worse off after his surgical treatment than before it. And at my 6 month post -op visit he told me I would have to have the surgery all over again to correct it. Plus, he lied to me about the surgical results and the still expected results at both my 2 week and 3 month post-op visits.

Dr Kossoy is great and so is his staff they are the sweetest office I have ever been in. And the people who say the Dr. is bad are CRAZY people who just like to complain... He saved my life!
