Dr. Kent Steven Sutterer, DO

I cannot express enough gratitude for the exceptional care my mom received from Dr. Sutterer in the emergency department at progress west. When she was very sick, we were understandably worried, but Dr. Sutterer went above and beyond to ensure she received the best possible treatment. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that Dr. Sutterer genuinely cared about my mom's well-being. He took the time to listen to her symptoms and concerns, making her feel heard and valued during a stressful time. His thorough approach and expertise were evident as he quickly determined the necessary steps to help her. Thanks to his quick thinking and decisive actions, my mom received the treatment she needed to stabilize her condition. I truly believe that his dedication and skill saved her life. Now, I’m thrilled to say that she is back to her normal self and better than ever! If you ever find yourself in need of emergency care, I highly recommend Dr. Sutterer. His compassion, expertise, and… commitment to his patients make him an outstanding physician. Thank you, Dr. Sutterer, for everything you've done for my mom!

I had a wonderful experience with Dr. Sutterer. I went to the Emergency Department at Progress West. I was treated in the hallway. There were people everywhere. Dr. Sutterer was very kind and caring. He took extra measures to ensure my privacy was protected. Even though it seemed very busy he took time to listen to me and my concerns. I was discharged with the right direction I needed to get well. I hope Dr. Sutterer is working next time I visit the emergency department.

Doctor was poor at explaining what tests were being done and why, what I could expect. I waited two hours in the bed to be told I could go home without much explanation or concern, even though the paramedics explained the need for me to come and that my doctor nor urgent care were not the right places to go. After all was said and done he gave me an incorrect diagnosis and very little concern. Very poor doctor. I'm so glad I have been treated well before by doctors to know a bad one. I will not return to this hospital for care.

Horrible experience. Made a bad situation so much worse. Long story short: in the ER he ordered tests for the wrong side of my mother’s body. Forgot to ordered hip x-ray. Basically kicked us out of the ER and then every time we went to carry my mother out with a broken elbow and ankle and bruised forhead and hips kept asking “so she doesn’t want the splint?” The second time he stopped us after we already already signed the discharge papers and asked “so she not what us to clean her head and see if she needs stiches?” As if someone already asks is this and then says “I offered 2 time already.” No he didn’t. Horrible. Horrible

Dr. Sutterer sees four out of the the five in my family. He spends a lot of time helping you with back pain and headaches. If it wasn't for him, I would still be wanderig around wondering what was wrong with me and why I'm in so much pain. He has helped myself and my children with our headache and back pain significantly!
