Dr. Kerim Munir, MD

Dr. Kerim M. Munir, MD, MPH, DSc, is a developmental pediatrician and psychiatrist at Boston Children’s Hospital and an associate professor of psychiatry at Harvard Medical School. He specializes in autism spectrum disorder, developmental disabilities, child psychiatry, and global mental health, with a longstanding focus on improving care for children with neurodevelopmental and behavioral conditions both nationally and internationally. Dr. Munir earned his medical degree from Istanbul University and later completed advanced training and graduate studies at Harvard University, including degrees in public health and epidemiology. Widely recognized for his leadership in developmental medicine, research, and advocacy, he is dedicated to advancing equitable, family-centered care and expanding access to mental health and developmental services for children and adolescents around the world.
