Dr. Kerry Lane Hendershot, MD

A new insurance company needed a new referral for a Cardiologist that I had been seeing for three years. Receptionist said he had 1000's of patents and it would take 4 to 6 weeks for the referral and my appointment for the Cardiologist was next week. Went to another doctor and got the referral the same day for the appointment, that by that time, was less than 24 hours away. He always seemed uninterested and in a rush on my visits. I wish doctors and especially their staffs understood that most people don't come for a good time and to hang out, they come because they are not well. Along with the stress of not being well they have to take off from work, miss getting paid, alter their schedules, endure their often times rude belittling staff, go to the effort to get there on time, and then sit for very long periods of time just to see a doctor for less than 5 mins. I'm sure he is a wonderful person and good doctor, just didn’t work for me.

My family and I have gone to Dr Hendershot for a long while now and wouldn't want any other PCP. I can go in for something so simple and I get the attention any other person would. Thank you for all your care Dr. Hendershot.

After Dr. Farmer died we searched for a family doctor and had several people recommend him. His family is a sports family and that totally helps when understanding how busy we are. We've been going to him now for 5 years, all my family and he's always handled everything very well. They are wuick to call you back, they lustenbto your concerns and they sincerely care. A+ in my book.
