Dr. Kerry A Laursen, MD

I have been seeing Dr. Laursen since she opened her practice. I have found her to be friendly, not rushed, takes the time needed to get things done. As anyplace, some staff are helpful and others not so much. The problem I have is that as I age and new problems come up, she simply refers me to a specialist without doing much herself. So I pay to see her and then have to wait again for an appointment and pay a specialist before my problem is addressed. then I have several docs prescribing meds and am not sure whether they all work together. Dr. Laursen will write the refills, but each time I need a new prescription, I have to go for an office visit. Now that she has again changed offices, they can't even access my records unless I make an appointment. Part of this is the ACA regulations, but I need a doctor who is more comprehensive.

Her beside manner is horrible. She spends 5 minutes "listening" and even less "diagnosing" she basically refers you to everyone else and I'm not sure how she even got certified. She's rude, and the members of her office are similar. She is very unprofessional, and was late to our appointments. Once she was late 15 minutes and the next 30 minutes. Never visit her!

Dr kerry is my physician and i love her...i feel very comfortable with her and her team is excellent...

Dr. Laursen has been my doctor since she opened her practice. She takes time to listen to my questions and concerns and has gotten to know me so I'm not just a number to her. I have RARELY had to wait past an appointment time and they try to accommodate emergency visits. I have and would reccommend Dr. Laursen to anyone needing a physician.

Dr. Laursen is very good and perfect if you just want someone who can always squeeze you in and you don't have to wait long and you are in good health. Now that I am getting older I am experiencing a range of health concerns I needed someone who took a lot more time to talk to me. Also, the staff was fairly rude when I started going but as of about 6-12 months ago, the staff has switched up a bit and now much nicer and helpful.

I have been a patient of Dr. Laursen s since she started her practice in 2005 and have nothing but great things to say about her and her staff. They have always gone out of their way to fit me in on short notice and have done so with a smile. And, I love their new office - it is so relaxing!

When I first started seeing Dr. Laursen as my PCP several years ago, I figured the short wait in the office was due to the fact that she was a young doctor with a new practice. Now over 3 years later, I still only wait an average of 5 to 10 minutes in both the waiting room and the exam room. When I had a medical issue this past month and had to make 3 office visits, I was in and out of the office each time in less than 20 minutes! This is unheard of in a day and age where an hour + office wait is more the norm. Dr. Laursen is caring, compassionate and very pleasant. Her entire office staff is a pleasure to interact with. She seems very concerned that her patients create a healthy lifestyle for themselves and promotes preventative care as well as being excellent at diagnosing problems and the appropriate care and follow-up. If you're looking for a really good primary care/family physician, I would highly recommend Dr. Kerry Laursen!

After looking for a doctor, I found Dr. Laursen on my insurance website, I called for an appointment and told them that I was looking for a family doctor and have a physical done. It has been many years since I seen a doctor, well, the day before my appointment, I got a call from the doctor's office tellling me that Dr. Laursen was not in the office that week, and that I was going to be seen by another doctor that was a very good doctor, and I said that it was okay. When I got to my appointment, I only waited about 7 or 8 minutes before thay call me in (I was very impress with that), and after the nurse does what she does with you in the room, she left and about 3 minutes laterr this other doctor came, and told me that she was the one that was covering for Dr. Laursen, and I said ok. To make the story short, she did not know why I was there, after I told her that it was my first time, she said well, I am sure your wife has been here before so you know how things work, and I said no,… that I found the doctor through mu ins web page, and I told her that the rason I was there it was because I wanted to have a physical done, and mine this, that from the minute this other doctor walked into the room, she kept looking at her watch, like she had a plce to be and did not have time to see me for more that 5 minutes. She left the room and told me that she was going to go get the nurse, the urse came and told me that maybe I wanted to come back another day to see Dr. Laursen, and I said, well maybe, I will have to think about it (I never saw this other doctor agian). Before I left the office I thanked them, hoping that next time, they will treat somebody else better. I hope this review help somebody else that might be thinking going to see this doctor.

Dr. Laursen is an excellent doctor and has a wonderful rapport with patients - she is thorough and not rushed in appointments, takes time to explain your diagnosis and treats her patients well! In addition, in the 5 years I have seen her, I have never waited longer than 30 minutes for an appointment.

I have been under the care of Dr. Laursenfor the last 8 years and I love the care she and her staff provide.
