Dr. Kerry T Thibodeaux, MD

I am writing this review for my mother. She has dementia and suffered with a surgical "un-healing wound" for 15 months. She developed osteomylitis and eventually tuberculous in her open wound. She was basically written off by the original surgeon and 3 wound care physicians in our immediate area. We were given no hope for healing or even closure of the wound. Several doctors suggested that she just live with the open wound for the rest of her life. Turned away by literally every wound care doctor in our hometown, with one last plea for help to another Dr, we were referred to Dr. Kerry Thibodeaux in Opelousas. Although it was a 90 minute drive, Dr. Thibodeaux accepted my mother as a patient, and within 3 months of treatment and observation, he performed a procedure that left her wound closed, pain free and she doesn't feel any pain at all. Dr. Thibodeaux is an excellent, caring physician, and after 2+ months my Mom is doing great, and I thank God for him every day.
