Dr. Kevin Brader, MD

Terrible! I would not recommend him to anyone. He did not give any options just did what he wanted. He lied in his records and caused a lot of nerve damage along with other complications. He doesn't not answer questions or return calls... I assume because he knows what he did

I never had an opportunity to tell you all about Dr. Brader. I had ovarian cancer back in 2004. My gynecologist recommended I go see Dr Brader to confirm his opinion. I had a large tumor and the tests excluded cancer. My gynecologist (which was also a great doctor but retired now) suggested to Dr Brader that he be with him in surgery just in case. I was so glad Dr Brader was there because not only did I need a hysterectomy but they found cancer on my right ovary. Between the two doctors (also both surgeons) they saved my life. Dr Brader was very informative, very caring of not just what was going on with me but he would talk about my personal life too and was always concerned about everything going on in my life. After the surgery he would come to the hospital and visit me. He wanted to make sure I was taken care of and wanted to keep me updated with my test results instead of making me wait and worry about things. My chemo treatments started a couple months later. At every appt. I… had with him from the every 3 mos. to 6 mos and then reaching my 5 year mark to my yearly appts. He made sure I was comfortable and was always reassuring that I was doing well. He is a great doctor and a great surgeon. I am still going for my yearly after going on 16 years of being cancer free. Dr Brader has since left Lacks and gone to Metro. Metro has gained one of the best oncologists I know. He is one of a kind in my eyes. Thank you Dr. Brader.

I still think about Dr. Brader and how he treated and helped my mother and family during her course or treatment in 2004-5. He was exactly the doctor my mother and us, her children, needed to handle her cervical cancer.

I came to him with serious surgical needs and a complex medical history. He addressed each and every issue with me and together we came to the best procedure for my situation. The surgery went wonderfully and cleared up all my issues. He communicates very well and is an excellent doctor. I highly recommend him for any serious or complex medical issue pertaining to his specialty.

I was in the ER. I had already been diagnosed with what was making me ill it was my colon not my uterus. I still had the transvaginal ultrasound performed on me without mine or my daughters consent, ( she’s on my advanced directive). I feel violated. Then DR Braders office kept hounding me even though I see a gyn. They suggested I had cancer and needed a hysterectomy. They scared me and my husband. My gyn did an examination and said I was fine. I was trying to recover from septic shock and Braders office calls made it so much harder.

I was very impressed with my care from Dr Brader and his nurses and office staff before, during and after my DaVinci surgery for my hysterectomy. I would highly recommend him!

Dr. Brader has a compassionate attitude, caring bedside manner, and is clear and straightforward in his delivery of information. He was reassuring and confident in his recommendations. I would highly recommend seeing Dr. Brader.

It may not exist in complete, but Dr. Brader made is seem like some out in this world still care for others. My sister was a patient of his. And even though she died (not due to him, her cancer was fatal, and we knew in the start), my thoughts wander to his professionalism and care. he was such a great person. when he would talk to us, he wouldnt talk down, and if we didnt understand something, he would help us to. And now I am in college, and getting ready to write a paper on who my hero in medicine is. I have chosen Dr. Brader, and am very excited to be writing a paper about him.
