Dr. Kevin D. Brown

I am absolutely thrilled to share our exceptional experience with Dr. Brown. He recently implanted our 4yo daughter for her cochlear implant. Thanks to his expertise, there was minimal downtime post surgery, allowing our daughter to swiftly transition into her new life with improved hearing. Dr. Brown’s dedication to his craft has had a tremendous impact on our daughter and family's quality of life. We couldn't be more grateful for his outstanding care and skill. We traveled from Florida to NC to see him and are extremely thankful we did.

How fortunate I was to be referred to Dr. Brown for my hearing disorder. After several visits to other ENT's, Dr. Brown identified my issue and successfully restored my hearing. He is professional, skilled, and very caring. I always felt he spent plenty of time with me and explained my surgery and recovery very clearly and in terms I could understand. I am very grateful for this new improved level of hearing and the positive change in my lifestyle.

He has an almost uncanny ability to answer questions and address concerns before the question is asked or the concern voiced. It was his obvious expertise that gave me the confidence to pursue complex surgery, and he is an excellent surgeon.

Dr. Brown's office staff is terrible. Dr. Brown may be good. However, his staff kept me waiting and could not tell me when I might be able to see the doctor. Dr. Brown should understand that his patient's time is as valuable as his time. He needs to make sure that his staff clearly communicates when he will be able to see a patient.

Dr. Brown is very competent doctor. After running around between 5 other doctors that could not come up with a plan or diagnosis and wanted CASH ONLY for their services because they are TOO GOOD to accept an insurance ( I am talking a very good commercial insurance) we finally found Dr.Brown. He was very serious, knowledgable, not afraid to try to do things that might help the patient that others "lightbulbs" did not want to try. Once he is your doctor, you will gain the confidence that you are being treated by a really good doctor!!! The one who will answer your phone call any time of the day or night. The one that will see you the next day if you have a concern. Dr.Brown is a true Professional who also happens to be a great person.

A very serious, straight forward, and smart doctor. If you want cuddles and hugs look elsewhere because Dr. Brown is not that type. But, if you need an extremely competent surgeon who is willing to take on difficult cases then this is doctor for you. The doctor's staff is very professional and pleasant to deal with. I would definitely would go back to the doctor. The only minus was some of the nursing staff at New York Presbyterian Hospital where the doctor does his surgeries were less than desired.
