Direct and to the point yet caring. I knew he had my best interest at heart. (no pun intended). Having heart surgery is not only scary for the patient but for the patients family. Dr. Saal calmed my very nervous wife. A task I thought to be impossible. It has been over 10 years since my proceedure. He has weaned me off all my previously necessary medications and I have never felt better. Dr. Saal is by far the best Doctor I have ever had.
Once I found out I needed open heart surgery, I found the most well regarded surgeon in Boston (and one of the best in the country). Because he was not Dr. Saal's recommendation, he faxed me a letter 2 weeks before heart surgery that I should find another cardiologist. Really? Who does that?
Very professional and competent.
I have been going to the dermatology clinic at Kaiser Crescent Centre for several years and find them to have very good and knowledgeable doctors.
