Dr. Kimberly Ann Kernek, MD

I was very clear when I said I didnt want to be induced at 7 weeks pregnant and first meeting kim. I was clear throughout my pregnancy I didnt want to be induced. Kim blew it off and just kept saying okay. But when I was 39 weeks pregnant, she induced me anyway, saying the baby is pooping in the uterus and he can die from that... I was induced at her convenience, the day she was on call. She ripped my son out so fast and hard that my guts were on all of the nurses in the room. They talked about how aggressive she was as they were cleaning me off of themselves and the wall. Not to mention she hacked me up down there. She made sure she was there to get paid for delivering my baby, and the rest of the time I was in the hospital I didnt see or hear from her. It was other doctors from her practice. At the time of her inducing me, she didn't hear me out when I said no, and she made me feel like my son would die if i carried him til he came on his own. I felt forced, though… ultimately, i wasnt. But I'd been seeing this one same doctor for 9 months and on the day of delivery I had wished I had a different doctor, and was too close to delivery to find another. I give her a 2 star, fair rating, because she delivered my baby alive.

She’s not all that great to me. She doesn’t listen. It doesn’t seem like she cares about her job. To me it seemed like she was just doing a job that she had no other choice to do. I will not be going back to her for my next child.

Dr. Kernek is one of the most judgmental doctors I have ever met. I requested to see another physician within the group and when she found out, her ego got bruised and she decided to drop me from the practice all together, right before I was scheduled to have my ultrasound due to fibroids. I have been in and out of the ER for pelvic pain and scheduled this appointment, only to have it canceled the DAY OF, within hours before being scheduled to go in. THIS IS THE MOST UNPROFESSIONAL office and I am appalled.

Dr Kernek was assigned to me in the emergency room after I had been admitted for acute anemia due to excessive bleeding during my periods. She was kind and to the point and offered to see me to help me with my problem. That was four years ago and I am still going to see her. She and I have tried many different options for my issues. I felt very comfortable with her and she did a great job helping me.
