Dr. Kimberly A Vorse, MD

When I filed an appeal with my insurance company to have a decision to deny my shoulder surgery made by Dr. Vorse, my Dr. and I both requested a peer to peer Dr. review my case again. When a qualified orthopedic Dr. reviewed my MRI he agreed with my Orthopedic Dr. and overturned my appeal. So now I am scheduled to have my surgery to remove a bone spur and repair my shoulder. Again, I can not comment on Dr. Vorse's abilities and credentials other than the decision she made to not allow me to have surgery nor offered anything for pain since it was overturned by a certified orthopedic surgeon. I hope in the future if she makes a decision on an insurance claim that she reviews all the facts and makes the right decision since it affects people in different ways. I have to wait an additional 3 weeks before my surgery in pain.

She is not radiologist nor is she an orthopedic surgeon but is making decisions based as if she has these qualifications. I was denied surgery to have a bone spur removed, a torn ligament repaired and rotator cuff repaired because she felt I didn't need it but was given no other alternative to deal with the pain in my shoulder for almost a year. When my orthopedic Dr. asked my insurance company for a peer to peer consultation, they gave him Dr. Vorse to talk to. She was not qualified as a peer to peer in radiology or orthopedics to make such a decision. I will be changing insurance companies if they can't do better than that. I understand that her qualifications are as an anesthesiologist, pain, and sleep management - to those qualifications - I can not comment on since I have never been under her care for those things. My recommendation is that she sticks to the things she knows and not things she doesn't know.

This is the kind of low-life physician that sold her soul to the devil. She spends her free time reviewing medical requests for insurance companies. She gets paid a boat load of money by health insurance companies to deny life-saving interventions. She is the antithesis of a healer. For the right amount of money she'll let you suffer and die without so much as a blink of an eye! Go to her if you wanna get sub-par care.

Dr Vorse spent hours with me reviewing the MRI and explaining exactly what my problems are, what injections and pain relief methods could help and what I can do to rehab and prevent further problems. She addressed the whole issue and I feel like I know my body now and am on the right path. I recommend her to anyone with back pain - you will get the answers, a plan and results.

I had never met Dr Vorse before I was sent there by my spine specialist. I was sent to her for a epidural in one of my vertabres. I was in the pre opp room when I first met her, I knew in the first minute that I liked her. She was very honest and thorough. The procedure was flawless, I can say this honestly since I declined any sedatives or painkillers before the procedure. It was fast and clean and during the entire time she asked of I was ok and how my body was responding. After a few days her assistant called me to see how I was doing and continues to do so every other week or so. All in all it was a excellent experience and I will see her again if needed.
