Dr. Kira Manusis, MD

This is to highly recommend Dr. Kira Manusis as a great doctor. Several years ago, she performed a very complicated surgery on my left eye; the results of the surgery were extremely good. Three months ago, she performed cataract surgeries on both my eyes; because of the prior surgery on my left eye, this was not a routine cataract surgery with predictable outcomes. If your insurance is paying for your surgery and you are not paying out of pocket, you will receive substandard care. She doesn't listen to patient concerns and doesn't perform adequate post-op care. She will do your surgery but might not examine you herself until many weeks after, which is absolutely horrifying. She spends exactly 3 minutes with you and then is off to see another patient. Only cares about the bottom line. I would not feel comfortable recommending her to anyone.

Dr. Mancuso’s did an excellent job. She made great recommendations for the type of surgery and it was a fantastic success. I highly recommend her.

Awesome. On a Saturday night, I lost vision and raced to Eye and Ear infirmary while calling her service. Although the wait was long in acute care and my turn late, once triaged, Dr. Menusis conferenced in my exam and treatment. She continued following up over the weekend and also gave me her cell number which I used. She was/is totally there for me. ,
