After dealing with my last 3 urologists who could not find what was wrong until I literally TOLD THEM I found this Doctor to be efficiently cold. I was not looking for a pal of buddy just a bit of warmth and courtesy when told I had stage 3 Kidney disease.I also expected my doctor to LISTEN to me and possibly learn some things I tried that helped my situation rather than tell me he was too busy. TO BUSY TO LEARN SOMETHING NEW THAT MAY HELP ANOTHER PATIENT? I have a background in nursing and was shocked. On to K U MED and not to return to this office!

I just moved here - had a kidney transplant 12 years ago - had to establish myself with a nephrologist - he refused to even listen to other issues about my health even if other nephrologists all told me that my health problems stem from my kidney issues. He would cut me off while I was talking about health problems to the point that i felt like I could not talk. He did not seem to care about my overall health concerns. I ran out of a medication before I could establish my self with a new primary care physician - everyone knows it takes time to get in to see a new dr. - he made it clear that doesn't matter to him .... he would not refill the prescription - not because of a medical issue but basically because it is not his job - he is only worried about the kidney. i thought doctors were obligated to patient care - not this time.
